When i turn the power on for the unit, it just beeps rapidly 6-7 times in quick succession (beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep). there is no display led's lit up. I've tried different power points different leads. nothing. the unit was working fine just a few days ago when i did a few cycles with it.

Check the wiring harness, connections, contacts, etc. Look for some corrosion and loose connections. Also, check the water inlet for anything that may cause a reduction in water flow.

Turn machine OFF on the front panel. Hold down the Water Temp Down button and press the POWER button. Release buttons. You are in Diagnostic mode. With your service sheet ,Diagnostic chart will explain where the error lights pattern and the path to your solution are.My advice is this....there is a known problem with the wire harness connectors, and the contact that is made at the point of connection. One at a time remove each connector starting at your main control board ,some where there is a loose connection.

Hi Des, just read your posting. Now when you turn on the machine you say that some lights light up and it starts to beep. These lights will be in a row of 8 lights.Starting from left to right which lights are lit when the machine is beeping? Is it he 3rd and 5th or the 2nd and 7th ---etc---?Please reply with additional information on the question and I can help you rectify the fault.Looking forward to your reply.

What you describe is normal for the power on cycle. If if will not work after this, then you have a problem. If it will not turn on by pressing the power button, try one of the wash type buttons. If it responds to the power button or the wash type buttons and beeps with the start/pause button and the lid is closed, then the lid switch is faulty, if it does not beep and the lid is closed, then the button is faulty and can be replaced on it's own by anyone with some soldering ability.
