I have a 2000 F-150 that was recently broken into with a screw driver hammered into the drivers side lock which knocked the lock completely out of its place allowing the metal bar that lifts the lock inside the door to be reached from the outside. I took the door apart and glued the plastic piece that holds the lock inside the handle back together and put everything back together and the locks would work with the key fab and after about 2 or 3 weeks they got sluggish and eventually the drivers side would not work at all and about 2 weeks after that the passenger side stopped working as well. When i push the lock or unlock button on the key fab or the door controls i can hear the motor make the normal noise as if it were working but the locks dont move. Same when i put the truck in drive and the locks are supposed to lock i can hear the motor work but the locks dont move. I now have to manually lock the doors and to get in i have to manually unlock the passenger side with the key and reach over and pull the door handle on the drivers door in order to get in the truck on the drivers side. Is there anything i can do to make the locks work again?
