1- water intake is where water supply line is connected to d/w on bottom left be hind kick plate
2-remove spray arm and upper spray tube at same time turning to the right then you will have to use a torx driver to remove sump Cheers

it is sometimes linked to the dishwasher not level or the spring tension on one side getting weak. Refer installation manual http://kitchen.manualsonline.com/mdownloads/c11d2c17-cb0a-489c-99bf-a61513fbf876.pdf to make sure the level is adjusted. May need to replace the door seal in case leak is too excessive.

check that you aren't blocking the spray arms with items you have loaded into the dishwasher. Make sure that things such as pot handles or silverware is not obstructing the arms

You cannot resize the wood once it has swelled. You have 2 choices: 1, replace the countertop with something more steam resistant or,2 remove the swelled area and replace the wood with pine or oak glued into place with moisture resistant adhesive.

Newer washers are designed with a food grinder inside to help grind up large pieces of food. What you are hearing is the grinder doing its job. You do not need to worry about the noise. It should go away after a while as the food particle is ground up.

The nylon cord is part of the door spring mechanism. One end hooks over a tounge at the bottom of the door, then the cord goes around a pully at the bottom, then hooks onto the spring. If the other sides spring is still attached, duplicate it.

look at the other side,it is the same,the cable should go around a pulley then terminate at a flat piece of metal with 4 to 5 slots,(the spring goes here)the slots are to adjust the tension on the door .hope this helps.

Generally, doors can be swapped side to side.  Look for some kind of plate where the hinges would be on the other side of the box from where you've got the door mounted now.  It may be covered with a plastic piece.  If you find it, you're in business.  A small socket set is all it usually takes.  Get help holding the door in position as you do the work.  Doors are heavy.
