First you have to carefully remove the center with razor knife careful not to cut into the cone.you can hot glue this back on when finished. doing this will expose the the two thin sound coils one is inside the other now carefully apply a thin layer of vasoline between the two that way there not touching each other directly. sometimes a piece of paper works to, but it gives a small vibration sound when finished. when done just glue the center back on

When I turn on microwave oven fuse is burn out right a way. Thank you

Fuses burn for a reason: because the circuit is being overloaded. There could be several causes, first determine what else goes off when the fuse blows. All of the things that go off when the fuse is removed/blown/burnt are on the same circuit. A microwave is a heavy load, somewhere between 750 watts and 2000 watts, depending on the microwave. Remove other heavy loads (items which use lots of power) from the circuit. A 15 amp 120 volt circuit in a residence is good for 1800 watts (or 1440 watts continuously). If you had a 1500 watt microwave and four 100 watt light bulbs on the same circuit, you would be overloading the circuit. With a microwave, it is best to have it on its own circuit with nothing else (if possible). The fuse may also blow or burn in this situation if there is a problem with the microwave.

Have 2 blown square hifonics 12inch speakers. Was playing goos and then just stopped. Took to radio shop and they said I have 2 blown sub-woofers. How can i get them fixed.

They probably will have to be reconed. Slight chance the flex leads have broken in which they MIGHT be repairable. If this occurred during playing very loud, you probably burned up the voice coils.

Have them reconed and then use an amplifier that maxes out at MUCH less power to drive them. Also fuse the speakers to protect them.

I have one 12inch 1000 watt mtx sub what size amp should i buy

Hello taona80,

If the 1,000 watts is RMS, I'd recommend an amp in the 750-1,000 watt RMS range, perhaps like the Alpine MRP-M1000 or Rockford-Fosgate T1000bd. If the 1,000 watts is peak power, the subs continuous (RMS) power handling is much lower, probably 300-400 watts. In that case, I'd recommend the Alpine MRP-M500 or Rockford-Fosgate T500-1bd.

Depending on the watts on your stereo would tell you the most, for example say its 300 watts u buy a 150 watt speaker it would blow the speaker, if you buy a 500 watt speaker your risking frying the stereo, it be best too even it out as best you can, i know that this has nothing to do with what ur asking but it would help you to save more money on buying a new speakers or receiver, now to the answer to you question, i would recommend a 12inch speaker, it would give you good sound quality

Power of amplifier

If the KAC-7252 is to be bridged, the operation mode switch on the top of the amp is set to mono. When switched to Mono, the signal from the left channel input only is used. Bridging creates 4 times as much power so the KAC-7252 delivers 170 Watts per channel so that 340 watts total so that value 340 is multiplied by 4 and that gives you 1360 watts of power. so it will drive them.
