Forgot your Windows XP password? Don't worry about that. I have troubled the same thing before. I searched from internet and solved the problem. Now i want to share with you and hope it will really help.

Solution 1: If you have owned another available admin password, it can work. Just log on your PC->Click "Start"button->Control Panel->Add or remove user account->Select the account you want to reset->Change or Remove the password. Then the password will be reset.

Solution 2: You can use one of the password recovery software tool to reset the forgotten password. Here, i would like to introduce you one of them, which i have applied. It is really a good hand. That is Windows Password Reset . The process is following.
Step 1: Download the Windows Password Reset Deluxe from http://www.windowspasswordreset.net and burn a erasable CD
Step 2: Boot the CD into the ISO image which is provided by Windows Password Reset Deluxe
Step 3:BIOS settings
Step 4:Recover the Windows XP admin password.
It is an easy-to-use way to reset windows password.

You can have a try.

Hi, my pc is not working well since i installed os xp home edition, its running too slow in spite it has 512 ram and 40 hd,i havent installed the drivers i mean nothing and th cpu usage is stil 100%. what...

Windows XP needs at least 1 GB of RAM to function reasonably and for best performance, go to 2 GB. But that might not be the main problem. You really need to install the system drivers to make the O/S work with the hardware. Then run the command MSCONFIG from the command line and click the startup tab to see what might be running in the background. Uncheck the things you don't need.

Sounds like your operating system (Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition?) is corrupt or damaged. Did you purchase the restore CD? If not, you can get it from Dell for about $10 - follow the instructions that come with it. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the hard drive. Depending on how long you have owned it and whether you have the extended warranty, the repair may be covered.

Dell dimension 5150 ethernet problem reloaded windows xp home from a windows xp entertainment os. apear fine but not receiving.

Okay, so it seems you installed Microsoft Windows XP Home on a what was Media Center Edition installation, and the ethernet is no longer worker.
Please refer to dell.com's support section, enter your model, and download drivers that you need.
To find drivers you need, Go to start --> control panel and then go to (under classic view) system --> the hardware section, open up device manager, and then look for ones with a yellow big question mark, and get those drivers from dell's website. Burn these drivers to a CD on another computer, or use a USB flash drive if that does work.
Good luck.

Please download the ERD Winternal Image from http://www.mininova.org/tor/857048 and burn it in a CD.
Then boot your PC from the CD. Select your Windows Media Edition for which you have forgot password. Without asking for any password you will get into Windows. Then goto control panel->User Accounts->Select the Username[for which u want to change password]. Then use change password option to change password. Then Reboot the PC and remove the CD. Now your windows password will be reset.
Thanks.
