    i dropped my mp3 and also doesnt show anything on the screen and also doesnt load up my music. will i be able to retreive my music back?

    I have a NW-HD1 that switches on but stays on the Walkman screen (i.e. no menu and no access to tracks). Once on the only way to switch off is using the switch underneath (i.e. the top button doesn't do what it should).

I was torrenting [i know silly mistake!!!] music files and first my internet crashed and now i cant get on my laptop im just getting the black screen, i cant access my data or anything!!!

Sorry to hear this. Try hitting F8 multiple times on bootup to get startup menu. choose - last known good configuration. If this does not work, try again only select safe mode. if this works - just concentrate on getting important files off. Otherwise, get your install CD - put in drive and reboot for clean install as you are likely spam and virus ridden. get antivirus on it right away. Good luck!

Add music without itunes .

As you see, sometimes, iTunes is not so convenient for transferring music. However, you can try an alternative to iTunes - Leawo iTransfer. It's easy to use and without sync with iTunes. Check below steps.

Step 1. Run Leawo iTransfer and connect iPhone 6s to computer with USB cable.

Step 2. Add music you like from computer to iPhone 6s.
Note:There are 5 ways to add files from computer:
A.Drag and drop the computer files directly into the window of the software;
B.Right-click music library and choose "Add File" or "Add Folder";
C.Click "File" on the upper right corner, and choose "Add > Add File/Add Folder";
D.Right-click music library and click "Add File";
E.Click "Add" button on the top left, then choose "Add File" or "Add Folder".
Step 3. After adding music to the software, it will automatically begin to transfer music from computer to iPhone without iTunes.
Of course, as a dual-way iPhone transfer tool, excepting for transferring music from computer to iPhone, Leawo iTransfer also allows users to transfer music from iPhone to computer for backup.

When i download music it goes into a file and i cant listen to it

I drop all downloaded music to one place, then get WindowsMediaPlayer to look there for music ln the add files to libary.
When this is done just "Sync" your device in WMP and choose the files you want to add.

Please rate this solution if you find it helpful. It is how I "Sync" my own mp3 player, everyday.

Transferring music from Pc to phone

To clearify things,
Have you checked in "My computer" if you have a "Removable disc: xx" or "Mobile device" ?
(the last one being located at the bottom of the list in "my computer")

It is very possible that the phone will show up with something like "Removable disk: Phone card".

Seperating musci by files

Work with your Lyra. I use the alphabet to keep my songs in the right order.
1. Connect your Lyra MP3 player to your computer using the proper cable, and click on your desktop to open "My Computer".
2. Click to open the drive labeled "Lyra".
3. Right-click on the song name, and choose "Properties" from the menu.
4. Go to the "Details" tab (I believe)
5. Highlight the name and change it. For Example: If I want the song "We Will Rock You" to be my first song, I name it "aaaWe Will Rock You". I want the next song to be "We Are The Champions" so I call it "aabWe Are The Champions"
6. Some songs have security issues and will not allow you to change their names. Then you are out of luck.

I hope this helps.

Put the player in MSC mode
Plug in
go to My Comp
go to tools
go to folder options
choose view tab, then choose SHOW HIDDEN FILES and hit apply
once you choose OK you should see the folder Music,
open and delete at will like you would any file: highlight, rightclick, delete.
You can also format in MSC mode by rightclicking on player in My Comp and choosing Format
