Sewing machine won't stitch

I have a homemaker FY2300 that won't stitch. It makes all the right noises and goes through the motions but no stitch is made. It was working perfectly then just stopped half way through a line.

Try changing the needle
rethread the machine top & bobbin
if the suggestions don't work, it's possible that the machine
may have jumped time,, taking it to a sewing machine shop
the technican can tell you for sure

What is the tension supposed to be on my homemaker fy2300 model sewing machine i have misplaced my manual and can't seem to get the tension right?

The standard factory tension setting for most machines is the halfway point between the high and low number. The upper tension is not meant to be static, ie, the tension adjustment will change depending on what is being sewn.

The tension is correct when the upper thread and bobbin thread meet in the middle of the fabric.

Beldray sewing machine won't make a stitch

try changing the needle--make sure the needle is the right one for
the fabric being sewed, and also inserted the right way in the needle
holder and all the way up into the needle holder
try rethreading the machine top and bobbin--make sure every
thread guide is used
make sure the bobbin is turned the right way in the bobbin case
if none of these suggestion help then the machine needs to be
checked to see if there is a problem with the timing.

I have kanmore sewing machine its not stiches at all one time noise & stop stiches thered not pick up for bobin its not come out.

Wow. If I understand your attempt at English. Your machine made a noise and now won't sew or pick up the bobbin thread.

First change your needle and make sure it's full inserted and correctly oriented in the needle bar. Do a test stitch on scrap fabric.

If you still have problems.. check the timing. The shuttle hook should just be starting to pass the needle scarf when the needle is at the lowest point of travel.

I hope that helps you. Good luck.

Serger won't chain off a stitch. Stitches won't chain and hold to fabric. Added new needle, rethreaded whole machine. Stitches won't connect to fabric or make a chain.

is it possible that the needles are in backwards?
it's very possible that the machine is out of time & would have to be taken to a sewing machine repair shop to be retimed

Machine won't zig zag even though the needle goes from side to side the line of stitching is straight.

put in a new needle
rethread the machine top & bobbin--use every thread guide
make sure the zig zag settings are correct
it's also possible that the machine could have a worn or damaged gear or cam--which would have to be checked at a sewing machine shop

Skipped stitches. Also, won't transition

have you checked the needle to make sure it's in correctly--flat side of needle goes to the back of the machine

correct needle insertion is mandatory for the proper use in your sewing machine. Raise the needle bar to the highest point, then loosen the needle clamp screw to remove the old needle.
place the new needle in the needle clamp with the flat side of the needle facing the back (or if using a round needle the groove in the needle should be facing away from the shaft.
push the needle all the way up to the stop, or as far as it will go, then tighten the needle clamp screw.

how to decide which needle is correct to sew with, it depends on the fabric & thread being used for the project.
like for example, I've been sewing for over 30 years, I'm sewing a stretchy fabric & regular needles won't work because they skip stitches & will pull the fabric thus damaging the fabric, the needle I have to use is a singer universal ball point needles, & I have no problem with the stitches they come out fine.
