When i install a sis or sisx file..it always say file corrupted!! can you help me with this?

The E63 is a s60v3 phone and will load all signed applications, also Java s40 v5, midp2 programs will load. To sign .sis applications search for imobile sign cert in this forum and use the acquired cert to sign all your .sis files. Enjoy your E63 its a great phone, I'm happy with mine.

sisx files are S60v3 installation files. sis files can be S60v2 or S60v3.
S60v2 files will not install on S60v3 handsets.
Unsigned sis or sisx files cannot be installed (unless you hack the handset). you have to sign the unsigned files before you install them.
better still, you can hack your mobile, so that you can install all unsigned and signed files.

try to install .jar or .jad file or install your .sis or .sisx directly from internet from your mobile's browser. Don't forget to rate my solution

Is it ? As I know this phone support .sis and .sisx files, maybe your sis file have been broken so it doesn't installable. try to download another file.
And make sure to download application for Symbian Phone S60v3.

N72 is an older version of symbian operating system. You can install .sis files only. If you are sure you have the right file then rename its extension from .sisx to .sis.

SISX files are similar to .SIS files, but are only compatible with devices running Symbian 9.1 and later; both SIS and SISX files are created using the MakeSIS tool and are signed by the SignSIS utility; the "makesis" and "signsis" commands are both invoked by the CreateSIS application.

u cant convert sis to sisx ,Not unless you have the original source code/build files, and then you use Symbian 9 compatible tools to compile and repackage the app, and get it signed. u may get its converter software @ http://www.filebuzz.com/findsoftware/Convert_Sis_File_To_Sisx_File/1.html ne other probs do tell me..im always here 4 u, n plz plz plz do rate me.. cya
