My sons Samsung YP T10 MP3 player is switched on but the screen has totally frozen and we can't switch it off or chanage the song or do anything on it at all.
Hi I have had this problem.Look on the back of the player and look for a reset hole. When you find it (its somewhere near the bottom of the player) get a needle.Yes a needle.And put it into the reset hole AND HOLD IT FOR 5 SECS. It should now be fixed.
TRY DO FIRMWARE UPGRADE.
Just ask samsung if it is possible for them to fix or replace it. thats what i did.

my yp-t10 4gb was working fine i use it almost every day i loved it never evan droped it. the other day i charged it and turned it on ....she froze for about 45 minuts than turned off ..i turned it back on and it seemed REALY slow ive reset it heeps of times evan formatted it and i cant seem to fix this problem ...it still plays music if i select "now playing" it sais theres only 17 songs on there but it still plays them all e.g. in the top right corner it sais song 354/17 ......any solution to this problem let me know .....i love my yp-t10 and i drink excessivly and smoke 2 much weed so i cant afford to buy another ........
No, this did reset did not work in making the player run at normal speed. Still very slow...
Same problem! I never dropped or anything, all of a sudden I turned it on and it runs at a snail's pace or freezes completely! What the hell? It's so frustrating I can't use it without feeling like flinging it across the room!
