The iPod does not have built-in speakers. You can plug external speakers into the earplug jack.

When I put earplugs into the computer to listen to something they do not work. I can not hear through the earplugs. I still hear through the speakers of the computer.

If you have the ear plugs connected to correct output they should work unless the earplugs are no good. Try with another computer to see if they work and draw your conclusions.

Will my RCA TH1814 MP3 play without earphone? And how?

MP3 players do not have built-in speakers and you need earphones to listen to music etc. on these players.
You connect this player to powered speakers to use it without earphones.

I have an I phone 4 and a nissan pathfinder with bluetooth radio they connect to each other and the phone works fine but how do i listen to my music from the phone through the radio?

You can purchase a Jupiter Jack. This item plugs into any 3.5mm jack, like the one on your iPhone, and will allow the music on your phone to play through your radios speakers. I own one and love it. Here is the website. Let me know if this helps.

I hit stop/start button, green light illuminates, hit again, green flashes, but no music. have tried volume controls and both sets of earplugs. i have confirmed that music is loaded.

If a green light is flashing on the player the shuffle button in the middle of the player is being pressed changing the players mode from continuous play to shuffle mode. To activate the player to listen to music you must hold the power button down on the right side of the player for about 3 seconds. Play all doesn't work

yes this is a feature because the mic built into it was designed to leave yourself notes, like mental notes. not neccessarily created to allow you to record music with it. so your play all will not work with your recorded music, it was never intended to do that. however there is a way around this. you can connect the mp3 player to your computer and then go to recorded files, then take that and drag it into your music folder. that should allow you to listen to those recorded files with the play all. if you have any further questions my e-mail address is on my page. do not hesitate to contact me.

My iPod stopped playing through speakers- but only at work...

First things First!
1) check on other speakers to see if your iPod work fine
2) check connector for loosing electric connectivity.
3) check with your headphones to see if your iPod play music well.
4) Check, power on the computer spk. you got. or the input that is working right.
Good Luck
