I suggest to look/buy for the universal remote control,you must look only brand name of your t.v. before you buy or look for the brand/ model of your t.v. then search for the internet for the possible substitution for your lost remote control. The codes change with the remote's brand and only some models of the same brand share codes, so you need to use the codes that come with the new remote.
I had the same issue with a Toyota factory DVD, and found several remotes on eBay. I just searched for panasonic car dvd remote and found two listings right away. If neither of those are compatible with your player, just check back again in a week.
