CHARGER FAULT, SERVICE REQUIRED, ALARM U034

My UPS is an Eaton 9135G6000-XL3U Suddenly, the UPS beeps constantly with an interval of 1 sec, the Alarm LED is ON, and I get the following error message: "CHARGER FAULT, SERVICE REQUIRED, ALARM U034". Any hints on how to tackle with this problem? Thank you very much in advance, Dimitrios Soulis.

That error message is a DC over voltage error. You are going to be troubleshooting to the component level unless you can replace the charging board.

SOURCE: site fault

If UPS is displaying "Site Fault", it is doing its job correctly. Yoiu need to check the wall receptacle. Probably hot and neutral reversed by whom ever installed the wall receptacle.

SOURCE: hi we have problem with 6kva 9120 eaton ups,

The Poweware UPS is a true on-line UPS System, so it will handle sustained over and under voltages to +20% and -15%. If you are getting input spikes, the UPS has MOV's which will handle input spikes, and if too great a spike, the MOV will die attempting to save the UPS output load. If you are having further UPS input problems you need to put a good quality surge arrestor at the panel feeding the UPS on BOTH circuit legs feeding the UPS.

Matias,
Try using the Intelligent Power Software Suite (IPSS):

If you are trying to monitor the UPS, use Intelligent Power Manager (IPM). If you are trying to shutdown the Virtual Machine safely, use Intelligent Power Protector (IPP).

You can view the manual here: http://powerquality.eaton.com/Products-services/legacy/9150-info.asp
You can also contact the Eaton service department as they'll know this UPS better than anybody. They acquired Powerware years ago and kept the service personnel.
