Having and issue with the audio download on the Leapfrog Tag system. I have Leapfrog Connect installed on my Mac. Audio for books previously downloaded and newly downloaded are not able to be put on pen. I have downloaded the audio and it says the audio has been downloaded. When I try to put the audio on the pen it says "some audio files cannot be found on your computer. The audio files will download automatically as long as you have an Internet connection. Try syncing again when downloads finish." my Internet connection is fine and it previously said the audio was downloaded. Help!

    I'm having this same problem with another title. I've emailed and I talked with someone on customer service who said she'd email me soemthing and never did...did any of you ever get this fixed?!?

    I'm getting the same error with the "Interactive Human Body Discovery Pack" ... it seems to have downloaded correctly, but won't copy to the tag, I wish there was a way to delete whatever it was i previously downloaded in an attempt to REdownload

    I've got the same prob with the Human Body one too. All the other books seem to be working ok. When I first plugged the Tag in it went through an auto update of the software - bet this is what has coced it up. My son is now gutted because he can't play with his birthday present! Grrrrrrr

    Same issue here on PC though. Also giving me message when I tried to add the cat in the hat after removing it to make room for things that go. So much fro that Christmas present.

Just got this from LeapFrog. Worked for me, although it toook a couple of attempts.
For Macs:

Please try downloading and running this tool and connect the Tag Reader when prompted:

http://lfccontent.leapfrog.com/cs/tools/LeapFrogTagFixTool.dmg

For Windows machines:

1. Close the LeapFrog Connect application.
2. Double-click on this link http://lfccontent.leapfrog.com/cs/tools/LeapFrogTagFixTool.exe then click "Run."
3. Click "Unzip" to extract the files.
(You will be asked for a location to save the files. Save them to your Desktop or to another folder that you can easily find.)
4. After the files are extracted, find the "LeapFrogTagFixTool" folder on your Desktop (or where you saved the extracted files).
5. Open the folder and double-click the "TagFixTool.exe" file to open the LeapFrog Tag Repair Utility program.
6. Connect your Tag Reader to the computer. (Make sure your toy is powered on.)
7. To start the repair process, click the "Click once to fix your Tag Reader or Tag Junior" button.
8. Once the repair process is complete, follow steps printed on the screen to close the program and open LeapFrog Connect.

    I ran the tool and now my tag is soundless. I lost even the power on/off sounds. Do you know what's wrong?

I installed my leapfrog connect for my Tag reader. It says to plug in the Tag with the USB cable to the computer ( which i did) and turned it on. For some reason its not picking up so i cant go to the...

it depends on what Operating system your using, if xp then goto devices in the control panel and click on detect new devices, also check there if the usb drivers are installed, sometimes you have to install the software before plugin it in. if it's win7 then again click on devices and also check my computer when the usb is connected, and again install the software before plugin it in. best regards.

The Save to Tag button on the leapfrog connact application does not do anything and so none of the audio will download from the library to the actual tag device

mine is doing the same thing. it's brand new. my daughter got it for christmas yesterday. i've even tried it on my husband's macbook. both our macbooks are up to date and her leap pad works. i'm about ready to take this stupid thing back to the store. it synced all the books except for her tangled book and will not sync again. i've even tried to restore back to factory settings and it won't even do that. i've deleted and reinstalled the leapfrog connect app 3 times. also seems that the stupid pen sucks down battery juice. i've put brand new lithium batteries in the pen and after 2 hours the pen is acting like it's dying and the only thing we've been doing is trying to sync it.

Audio download page doesn't show books. just a block with a question mark on it. i've re installed numerous times. We are using a mac.....PLEASE HELP!

Check to see if you have the latest version of flash player. If it still doesn't work it might be something wrong nationally. I have been on hold for leapfrog for the past 41 minutes and counting!

Audio wont download onto tag junior

make sure leapfrog connect is installed correctly, then make sure you have the latest version of flash, after you download the audio, make sure you add it to the tag junior. you can do that by clicking "on my tag junior" on the left side under audio downloads and click add then it will sync.

You will want to use the LeapFrog Connect Tag Fixing Tool to see if you can resolve the issue. The instructions for Mac, and PC are listed below:
PC instructions:
1. Begin with LeapFrog Connect closed
2. Click here: http://lfccontent.leapfrog.com/cs/tools/LeapFrogTagFixTool.exe for the download executable file.
3. A File Download box should pop up. Select "Run"
4. You will be prompted for a location to download the program to, you will see a message "Unzip to folder"
5. Click Browse and select your desktop as the location to save the folder
6. Click "Unzip"
7. This should create a folder on your desktop named "LeapFrogTagFixTool
8. On XP: Open the folder and double click on the TagFixTool to open
9. On Vista or Windows 7: Open the folder and right click on the TagFixTool and select "Run As Administrator"
10. Connect the Tag Reader or Tag Junior to the computer and turn it on
11. Click the button "Click once to fix your Tag Reader or Tag Junior"
12. Once the repair process is complete, follow steps printed on the screen to close the program and open LeapFrog Connect.
Mac instructions:
1. Download the LeapFrogTagFixTool.dmg and mount the image. File is located here: http://lfccontent.leapfrog.com/cs/tools/LeapFrogTagFixTool.dmg
2. Drag the FixIt application into your Applications folder.
3. Close the LeapFrog Connect application (if it is open.)
4. From the Applications folder, double-click the FixIt application file to open the LeapFrog Tag Repair Utility program.
5. Connect your Tag Reader or Tag Junior to the computer.
(Make sure your toy is powered on.)
6. To start the repair process, click the "Click once to fix your Tag Reader or Tag Junior" button.
7. Once the repair process is complete, follow steps printed on the screen to close the program and open LeapFrog Connect.
Note: Please be sure to be signed into your admin account and are connecting to a USB port directly on the computer, not a port on the keyboard or other hub.
