Wiring digram for Panasonic NI-A57SR Iron

I needed to replace the thermal fuse, but failed to write down which wire goes where on the back of the iron. If no wiring diagram available, can someone take the cord reel off of theirs and see which wire goes where for me. Thanks

Same issue i believe
with metal part laying flat (ironing position) and looking at bottom side, from the left to the right - white & blue leads, lamp(resistor lead), red then both black leads and other end of lamp.
im guessing the themal fuse is the lamp? what is the PN where can i get it.

i had a small shere fall out of the unit, besides the positioning switch where else would this be located?
Thanks

Fix the thermal fuse

Teresa:
It's a thermal fuse, (in this case it's a thermistor) and like any other fuse that has blown, it needs to be replaced. (The thermistor doesn't cost much... a few dollars at the most.) To replace the thermistor, the bottom of the waffle iron will have to be removed, and the thermistor de-soldered from the wiring (make sure that you note which way the thermistor connects to the wiring... you don't want to solder the new thermistor backwards!). Take the thermistor to an electronics shop and buy another identical thermistor. Solder the new thermistor to the wiring the same way the old thermistor came out. Reassemble the waffle iron, and don't leave the waffle iron on when you're not making waffles!

My iron is not warming up any more what can i do?

A. Check the wire connections. If so, tighteing or chaning the cord with do . B. Thermostat migh got suck, if so, inspection of it will show and you need to gently sand the contact point. Or worst case senario, the heating element (coil) inside the heating plate might have been burnt, is this is the case, the iron is toast.

Panasonic Iron won't heat

most iron cases can not be seperated from the iron plate but, if you can take off the bottom plate you will see a heating element and attached to that a small cylinder it has a point on one side and a flat end on the other it is called a thermal fuse and radioshack sells them
they are made in different versions so take the fuse in to get the right one clip it back in and your iron should work again

Panasonic iron NI-A56NR wont turn on

first test your heating element to see if it is working.
You can by pass the control module by removing it from the line. Just disconnect all wires that goes to the module and put aside, then, connect back lead to the far right connection and white wire to the third connection from the left. Be careful playing with electricity is hazardous to yout health if you don't know what you are doing.

NI-A57SR steam Iron suddenly not functioning

I had the same problem, when I took it apart, I noticed the theromstat points needed sanding. Just a reminder, make sure to write down the order of wire leads before disconnecting. By the way to test if the heating element is working connect white lead to the second connection from the left and black lead to the far right. Place your iron flat down on a wet cloth ( so that you won't burn your surface). You can also use an electrical tester. If heating element does not work though, it is time to buy a new iron.

Iron is out of order

an appliance repair center could probably fix it but you have to consider the cost against a new iron
mostly it is more costly to repair than to fix

My panasonic NI-R73NR iron went off and is not coming back on.

Check fuse in plug, check wire in plug for loose connection. Turn the thermostat a little higher to 'freeup' the contact mechanism. Check continuity with a ohm meter on the irom conacts, check lamp on iron
