I was told my a jeweler that Movado condiders that. Design defect and they don't produce or offer that rubber insert for sale.

The first thing I would do is take it to another jeweler (preferably in a higher end store), ask how experienced he/she is with your brand of watch, find out if they are the senior jeweler in the shop and just get a feel of whether you trust their opinion or not. Explain to them what happened and ask them if they can tell whether or not the person who changed the battery for you could have caused the damage to your watch. If they confirm that the person who changed it likely or certainly caused the damage, ask them to write a note explaining what the original jeweler did to cause the malfunction and then call the jewelry shop and tell the owner what you have found out. If they get huffy with you and tell you to buzz off, you have to then decide how much trouble the watch is worth. You can always take them to small claims court, but most shops will back up their work and if you have solid proof that their employee screwed it up and you don't let them back you down, they will likely (eventually) make things right for you. guess backs can be kinda hard. if u can push it on with ur thumbs and press it against ur leg(for padding) then u need a watch press and should take it to a jeweler other wise u might break the crystal

As the jeweller is not a watchmaker, he/she even did not realise the watch is not working properly. It sounds like your watch is having jammed gear train or the jeweller did not know how to reset the watch. Go to this website: www.tissot.ch

Your watch is need to clean an replaced the old oil in gear shafting that is the common problem of a watch when the old oil is sticky already thats makes the gear moves slowly and your watch is always late . If ever your watch was already clean and replaced new oil and still working slowly then the problem is in the circuit board is near to run out its needs to replaced whole circuit board so its better again. I know this because im a technician in Rolex service center before. Feel free to ask whatever the result.

Not enough information. Mechanical or Quartz for starters. Runs fast probably means it needs cleaning and service. Probably not a watch worth doing that with. They use cheap movements that can easily replaced but jewelers are too lazy or expensive to take a cheap watch to. These use cheapo movements.

there is adjustment for that inside of watch or it just may need a little cleaning inside recommend take to jeweler and have serviced if you want to try cleaning at home simply take off back cover and clean with a little cigarette lighter fluid put little bit in wash around and drainout (do not soak) allow excess to evaporate out and replace battery and cover hope this helps
