I have been using the Panasonic KX-TG2357 wireless phone successfully for several yaers. Recently we switch carriers from AT&T to Verizon. Now I no longer get any messages on my machine. I asked Verizon to turn off the voice mail servce they provide but still don't get any messagesa at home. I no longer have the instructions that came with the phone. I have tried disconnecting power and reconnecting - no change. Suggestoins? Bob

You can transfer a call between units, but you cannot forward to a different phone number. Page 48 of the manual details this: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG2357.PDF

Sorry, the KX-TG2357 does not have this ability. You can make it flash when there is a message: see page 24 of

This worked for my mother's KX-TG2357:

We tried doing what it said in the manual on page 54. That didn't work! She then decided to just unplug everything. About 3-5 minutes later, plugged everything back in, and lo and behold, everything was working fine!!

Called Panasonic Support. The unit will NOT record voice messages whilst in talking mode.

A few days ago I bought Panasonic KX TG1100 - but the base unit does not ring - only the handset!
Can I do anything about it?

Only if you have 2 phone lines.

Main base is toast.

Astoundingly, the KXTG2357 works only with the original handsets it came with! You cannot replace a handset by buying another one (same model, of course) and register it with the base. How ridiculous is that? It's like buying a lamp that works only with the bulb that came with it. Replacement bulbs won't work. Well, Panasonic is one company I won't be dealing with anymore!

So, the solution is to get along with one less handset, or buy a new phone unit!
