My Samsung YP-U2JZW/XAA MP3 player, since I love it, was in my pocket, then I changed into shorts, and put the jeans, without nptiving the MP3 was still in them, in the washer. So, it got washed, and now all the dirt's gone that used to be all in the tiny spaces between the letters, but it'd dead. I pulled it out before the "rinse" cycle, and let it dry out, but no luck. Any ideas for a girl that can't afford a new one?
I think the circiuts may have gotten wet and it shortcircuited. I would go everywhere to find a newone.they sell them pretty cheap at Wal-mart. or just google cheap mp3.

You did not give all the infomation on the MP3 player so all I can do is guide you to the correct page to download your needed download.
The following MP3 players are listed there:
Plug it in and charge it for 3 hours, if it does not say fully charged or dies quickly after this, then the battery is no good.
You could try this, turn on till dead, wrap in newspaper, place in zip lock bag, place in freezer for 2 days, take out let sit for one day in a warm area, charge for three hours and see if it holds the charge.
all you need to do is update the software in the mp3 go to samsung.com and then go to download center and type in the mp3 modle which is usaly found on the back of the mp3 then you click on the firmware upgrade. but if this dosnt work try to turn it on and when it gets about 80 percent loaded just put it into the computer then
I misspelled "Noticing." Sorry!
And is it just me or are alot of these Samsung MP3's being weird?
believe it or not i the same thing happened to me :-(
