When I start my computer Compaq Presario CQ50-104ca it goes into a loop. It goes to a screen with options to do safe mode, safe mode with internet, select an earlier date when the program was working successfully, etc. But when I select an option it just goes back to showing the options again...do you have a solution?
Thats the silly hp loop back deal (and has the F11 key active)
omg its old . 2008 but HP supports it. even on w7 (facts)
good luck with VISTA Microsoft shut down all support on VISTA, you do know that and what that means, right?

if the PC will not boot, it resets over and over (reboots)
it just means the OS is dead, nothing more.
that means the HDD is bad, in some cases:

what you are describing is the blue screen of death, meaning theres a hardware or software problem, try to boot into safe mode and perform a system restore, if that doesn't work use your XP cd, let it load the drivers and the ask it to fix the existing XP installation, anything that you have saved in my documents should be safe and the problem should be solved. If the blue screen reappears then you have a hardware problem

Hello sukhendu_gho ...
Just so I'm absolutely clear:
The reason I ask is because the manufacturer (HP) of your Compaq Presario 7500 only offers Monitor, Modem, and ROM software/driver packages. Nothing for audio specifically or any composite/all-in-one packages [http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=&cc=us&lang=&product=94505].
Please post back with answers and/or clarification, and we can try again.

reboot the system by pressing F8 if your using windows OS and select last good configuration.
you can try also selecting Enable VGA mode (press F8 while rebooting and select ENABLE VGA mode).
hope this helps, please rate.

I heated the monitor up with a heating blanket and a space heater. then reconnected to the computer. turned computer on and the monitor worked.
