The seals are specific to the Jacuzzi pump housing not to the Emerson motor. Most Jacuzzi pumps use the PS-200 or PS-201 seal (some have it listed as AS-20X) here is a Pump Seal Cross Reference.

SOURCE: my emerson spa circulation pump 1563, model

Is this pump for a 'in ground' body of water or for a fiberglass spa?

Someone MUST make something similar.

If yours is in ground you have many options based upon your filter media and the size of the suction and discharge lines.

If you can give me more information, I can more than lilely answer your question.

Let me know ... I want to help

cut power to pump.... pull of rear cover... ther e should be a shaft in the middle of the back of the motor... you will need a wrench or channel locks or something like that to hold shaft in place... then unscrew the impeller while holding this shaft

SOURCE: I have a bull frog spa with two flo-master pumps,

Common sources for a burning smell in order of most likely, depending on how your spa was equipped, in my opinion would be:

Blower motor - Worn out brushes on a DC motor arc heavily and will give off an odor.
Heater - Elements build up scale over time with less than ideal water chemistry and will give off an odor when heating.
Pump - As a pump nears total failure it can overheat enough to begin to burn the winding insulation and tie down cords causing a burning smell.
Control box/electronics - least likely but a failing relay or GFI recepticle can also burn and eventually fail.

How many orings

Emerson does not make the pump, they only make the motor. You need to find out the manufacturer and model of your pumps volute,(wet end or "plastic part")..., before I can help.

Spa motor is leaking

Hi,
This is something you can do on your own.
The leak is either coming from the shaft seals or from the volute-face plate O-ring.
Most likely it is the shaft seals. You'll need to know the brand of the wet end (pump housing) to get the right seal, the motor manufacture doesn't help.

Hello, I am trying to replace the front bearing on

If you haven't got your answer yet, I can help you, but it seems very late to reply. I have a same model, I take apart it, I see 2 bearings, you probably need puller to get it out.

My pump hums for a few minutes and then quits altogether.

This is a classic sign that it is miswired. Check to make sure wether you are using 110 or 220 wiring and then verify how the motor is wired. If this is an existing motor, you probably are getting moisture to the motor. Not a good thing. Replacing the pump shaft seal may do the trick, however you'll want to check the motor for any other obvious signs.

Where can a find a new pump CHEAP? Current pump is Model C48L2P104 (18 years old). Serial 1B93. Voltage 230 HP 1.5 RPM 3450/1725 Amps 9.2/2.5 Frame 48Y Dura-glas H/L

A new motor and pump parts (if needed) would be cheaper than a whole new pump. Your motor is part number UQS1152R or if you just want a single, high speed motor you could use USQ1152 to replace it. You will likely need a seal and seal insert as well; part number 100 (it may have letters in front like AS100, PS100, etc) and J3-2. A whole new pump you should shop for part #P2RA5YF-182L.

For a quote on the parts from us you can contact us using thru our website at www.arrowpools.net. Otherwise, google those numbers to locate your best deal.
