Okay if your have one that looks like that picture for it the water goes in the white tank on the handle piece, if the water is not spraying i'm guessing your hoses are clogged, as this sometimes happens if that is the case, run some lime away through it but don't spray the limeaway on your carpet it will eat it just use it to rinse it out and clear it

Hi there! Below are step-by-step instruction to assembling the hose to the cleaner so that you may use the attachments. I have also included a link to the instruction manual which gives instructions and illustrations as well. Hope this helps!
1. Put cleaner in its upright position. Connect the upholstery attachment to the trigger adaptor.
2. Remove the dirty water tank door.
3. Insert the hose adaptor into the dirty water tank.
4. Connect the base water supply connector into the fitting on the lower left side of handle facing cleaner. You are now ready to do above floor cleaning!

What? I have a Dirt. Devil easy steam carpet shampooed model CE 6300 HD. It was working great and then just stopped spraying out cleanser/water! Is there a manual or does anyone know how fix this problem?

Hello! You may need to prime the trigger to get the solution to start flowing. To do this, recline the handle and pump the trigger about 30 times. Then, turn the cleaner on and hold the trigger in for 30 seconds. The solution should begin to dispense. Be sure you are only using the cleaning products specified for use with this unit. Hope this helps! If you still need assistance feel free to reach out to use here on Fixya, Facebook.com/dirtdevil or Twitter @DirtDevil.

What canI do to get the steam to come out at full capacity?

Mine won't work too. I opened the bottom and found lots of boiling water residual around the outlet. That is why no steam come out. Even if I cleaned it, steam becomed very little, 10% of original. I would say Dirt Devil steam mop is just gabbage product. I do not recomment anyone to pay $50 to buy no more than one or twice usage!

I have a dirt devil carpet steam cleaner. model CE6300HD. It is not suctioning up the excess water. This model does not have a belt.

I took the advice on the chat site and checked the tightness of the gaskets on the bottom. They were not secure. Once I fixed that all was well.

Lost the manual. Need carpet/solution water

Below is a link to dirt devil. just put in your model# for the manual.
However most cleaners you buy give you the cleaner to water ratio on the bottle. Also you do not need to use Dirt Devil cleaner. All carpet cleaning solution are pretty much the same aside from the fragrance. The best ratio that I have found is approximately 5oz of cleaner for every gallon of water. Make sure you use hot water. Using cold water or waiting to long to use the mixture can reduce the efficiency of the cleaner.
Hope this helps.
