My sanyo vison hdtv lost picture maybe a year ago then after sitting all this time i plugged it in and it worked like new then thismorning it lost picture again... screen is black with a little tint of color and it still has sound. whats going on?

im a tv repair guy in lex, ky in i fixed mine it had the sam problem it was bad inverter board go to www.shopjimmy.com and get it there good people and it will fix it. the backlight will light for a split sec and go back out its the inverter board trust me

Hi there! The panel may be in protection mode. The Inverter board is the most logical area to start after checking power supply Voltages.(5,6,24 and 13Volts). There may be coils on the Inverter Board which have bad soldering or faulty. Other than this it may be main board which controls switch on or off. If all else fails, refer to a repairer.
