I have pictures but no sound

I have a JVC GZ-MG145 Hard Disk Camcorder, and I was filming my son's graduation. I accidently turned down the volume during filming, now I have only pictures and no sound. Is there any way I can get the sound back?
Your help would be appreciated.
Thank you. SJ

Since you didn't turn on the sound during the coverage there is no way you can have sound because you have disable the sound but if you did not reduce the sound totaly that is you can hear sound but not too high i will surgest you take it to studio so they can edit it but you let them know that you turn off the sound when you do the coverage so they will let you know if remedy can be done to it.

Do i need a memory card to record..

No you do not need a memory card to record. The JVC Everio GZ-MG130 is a hard disk drive camcorder with a built-in 30 gigabyte hard drive to record to. You can, however, use an SD memory card if you want to add additional space to save your videos and pictures to.

Camcorder says my memory card is missing

Turn on your camcorger, push the button menu. Select the rec media for video, select hdd so that it looks for the hard drive, Mine defaulted to the sd and was also looking for the memory card. Missed filming my son's 6th graduaton because of that!!!

Hope this helps
