hold the #1 down until it dials your voice mail for you, then listen to messages. push 7 to erase one & push 9 to save one after you listen to them. Phone does not come with voice mail set up already, so if this is a new phone for you, you will have to dial 1 & hold button down until it rings & it will walk you through setting it up

put your voice mail number in voice mail settings or you can dial directly your vc number to listen your voice mails,if you dont know your voice mail number then ask your network operator for number

when u listen to the voicemail.... listen to it completely until the new voice mail is done.... thats how i do it for my sidekick lx

if you want to access your voice mail, do the following.
go to message and go to voice messages.
the you will click listen to voice message to listen to your message.

To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:

1. Create a new voice mail message.
2. Listen to the new voice mail message, and then delete it. The new voice mail indicator should no longer be displayed.

Hold the "clear" or "mute" button until the handset beeps. This will clear the New Voice Mail allert.

The short answer is no. The JX200 will work with an answering machine because it "listens in" when the answering machine picks up a call. It can't "listen in" to voice mail, because the voice mail is handled by your phone service.

I have FiOs and used some of the info I gathered from this page to get my voice mail working now! To set up my voice mail I called my phone number (from the house phone), then pressed * when the automated system picked up...Your prompted to use a 4 digit pass code, which is the last 4 digits of your phone number (worked for me). From there I listened to the prompts and created a new "4 digit pw" as well as a "name password" by the end of the cycle. It then allowed me to listen to the messages on the phone and delete them! Phone finally says ready on it.
