check your power cord, check your 9 prong relay cord from power amp to deck unit, check your fuse that is in a little slot in the plug itself, most importantly check the 9 prong plug to the control unit itself, if you are mounted on the wall it could easily come out enough to not make connection. these units will take alot of bad voltage errors, if the only thing not working is your cd player you should still be able to eject it, if not it is power related, if it will eject but not play then your drive band is broke and unless you are very very mech minded take it to a repair shop who is nach. refered just look online for service try my ideas 1st you might get lucky, I hope I am right!!

Thanks for your question!
I'm sorry that you haven't received an answer yet.
The response rate on FixYa FREE questions is usually over 80%, but sometimes questions go un-answered when:
1. the question is unclear, incomplete, or poorly worded...
2. the question is mis-categorized - so the correct experts aren't viewing it...
3. the question requires an answer for something that cannot be explained online adequately...
4. specific training, tools, or equipment are required to avoid injury or death...
5. the Experts that are online simply don't have the resources to answer your question fully...
Please feel free to re-work your question if you feel one of these may be the reason.
Of course you are not required - but converting your question to a PAID one usually increases the reply rate as well.
Normal rates for FixYa are...

Would a nakamichi soundspace 8 subwoofer work on a soundspace 9. I think the power is the same. Thanks Hugo

Nop, don't do that, the subwoofer power in the Nakamichi Soundspace 8 is 20 Watts and the subwoofer for Nakamichi Soundspace 9 is 70 Watts. If you put the 20 Watts Subwoofer on a 70 Watts input the subwoofer will receive severe damage. http://www.nakamichi.com/pdf/SS8_brochure.pdf
