Oven Door Doesn't Completely Close

The door on my oven has never completely closed and sealed. There is roughly one centimeter of slack between the door's closed position and the fully sealed position. I've removed the door and replaced it, and it appears to be fully seated in the hinge mechanism. I can't see any adjustment. Any ideas?

I have the same with my Miele oven and have just removed and rehung the door. The top of the door sticks out by 1-1.5cm and I do not have this problem with the top. Any ideas?

I can't get me oven door back on after removing it for cleaning. The hinges have snapped back into place and I can't get them to the 'door removal position'.

The Oven Door has dropped slightly on the right hand side and catches when fully open. Is there any way to adjust/raise the height of the door ?

Door stays partly open unless you lean against it. No spring tension.

Oven door won't close completely

You will probably have to replace the springs I doubt if they can ve fixed. you can open the door all the way and you will see a hole in the spring just inside the door. you can stick a nail in that hole, both springs that will hold the door open and you can lift the door out and check the springs I will tell you to have patience its not easy.

The oven door (Model SMW272) does not close completely. It may need an adjustment or a new seal?

Generally speaking, if a oven door does not close properly, and it is a drop down door, then it usually due to weak springs in the hinges.
There is no adjustment provided, so the only solutiom is to replace both door hinges.

Re Neff B1451 oven door not sealing against oven body at top

If you take the hinges off, you can fit some washers between the hinges and the door to make it close it further. Probably not as good as new hinges, but cheaper. 2mm of washers will close a 5mm gap
