Instructions

Unscrew and remove the front panel of your washer or other appliance by removing the screws using a standard size screwdriver. Use an adjustable wrench to loosen and remove the bolts securing the top cover to the washer turning them counter clockwise. Lift the top cover by hand.

Remove the three eye bolts underneath the washer and set them aside. Undo the drive belt by shimmying it off of the pulley using your hands.

Lift the front of the washer off the ground just enough to place a 4-by-4 piece of wood under the frame and under the pulley. This will allow you to reach underneath the washer or appliance to replace the damper pads.

Remove the old damper pads using rubbing alcohol or other solvent and remove them from the machine. Use a utility knife or razor to assist in removing the old pads. Use a clean cloth to wipe away residue that may prevent the new pads from forming a strong bond once applied.

Attach new damper pads to the machine base using a rubber adhesive. Position the pads 3/32-inch under the center of the base, leaving 5/8-inch between each damper pad. Apply adhesive to the pads and attach them to the base. Allow several minutes to dry.

Apply a small amount of silicone grease to the bottom of the pads using a clean cloth. Return the drive belt and panels back on the washer or other appliance.

When shutting down throttle in gear, a heavy clonk is felt through transmission! chain and sprockets good.! thankyou.

If the chain and sprockets are in good condition and adjusted properly ( 1 1/2" slack ), you should check the rear wheel sprocket dampers. These are made of rubber and can deteriorate over time. If the dampers are bad you will be able to move the rear sprocket forward and back while the bike is sitting still. It is an easy fix to replace them, just remove the rear wheel and sprocket. they are model specific parts and should be available from your local dealer.

Can i rebuild sprint steering damper myself

What kind of steering dumper is that? What brand?
If it uses gas chamber you cannot fill it yourself. If it is only with oil you can rebuilt it but you need some tools (depends on the brand) and if you can find a sevice manual it would be a lot better (to know how much oil to put inside and parts that you may need).

How do i remove the damper rod seat at the base of the stachion, does it tap out.

to remove the damper rod you have to remove the allen bolt underneath the bottom of the fork leg. if you find this just turns try using a wooden broom shank to hold it as you undo the bolt.its best to undo the bolt 1st before you strip the fork springs out. hope this helps
