Video is lagging while playing games.

I have Core 2 Duo (2.2 GHz), 1 GB DDR 2, and Asus Mother Board (P5S-MX SE)
Problem:
When I am playing Games such as IGI (old version), Sniper, Desert Storm, The video is lagging. Even the older version of IGI is not working properly.
However, IGI is working fine with my old P3 with 512 Mb Ram.
I can not figure it out.
