I have a Kenmore Elite Dryer model number 110.60942990 that won't stay on all the time. most the time it will run for about 5 minutes then shut off, I have to restart it 5 to 6 times per load to get a load dry. when I open the door there is plenty of heat. and I've learned if I hold the button for about 30 seconds it may run longer. any suggestions?
TThe wiring diagram for your dryer is shown in the first image below. A
thermal fuse is normally in the circuit to the igniter on many gas
dryers. I recommend checking this fuse. On dryer model 11073032102, you
can access this fuse by _unplugging the dryer, shutting off the gas
supply,_ and removing the bottom front service panel as shown in the
second image below. On some Kenmore dryers, you have to remove the back
panel to access the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is located on the
blower housing . The third image shows the location
and replacement procedure. To test the thermal fuse, remove at least
one wire (with the dryer still unplugged) and measure the resistance
across the leads of the fuse with a volt/ohm meter. You should measure
near zero ohms (continuity). If you measure infinite resistance (open),
then the thermal fuse is blown and will need to be replaced.NOTE: If
the thermal fuse is blown, check the venting for your dryer. Restricted
exhaust venting can cause the thermal fuse to blow.

I have a Whirlpool gas dryer mod YLGR6648DD1 after igniting the main burner solenoid it runs for about 2-3 mins then loses power
on white black from timer and cuts off gas after 2-3 mins power comes back on, I have the dryer open no drum assy but the motor
keeps running power goes through all the sensors and overload ok
is it the timer?

Venting. When elements or thermostats burn out it is almost always caused by venting restrictions. Vent is plugged with lint, smashed(usually from the dryer being pushed back to far) vent run is too long, or nylon stocking on vent outlet. Also check to see if you can pour water through your lint screen. Sometimes fabric softener builds up on the screen and restricts the air flow. Scrub your lint screen to get this build up off. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

No it will restart but still doesn't stay on.
I have a Kenmore Elite Dryer model number 110.60982990 that won't stay on all the time. most the time it will run for about 5 minutes then shut off, I have to restart it 5 to 6 times per load to get a load dry. when I open the door there is plenty of heat. and I've learned if I hold the button for about 30 seconds it may run longer. any suggestions?
I have a Kenmore Elite dryer model number 110.70932990 which is 8 years old. Most of the time it will run for a few minutes, shut off and the buzzer sounds. You can immediately press the start button and it will restart. It may run for a few seconds or for 5 or 10 minutes. The exhaust pipe is only 12 inches long to the outside hood (no bends). There is no lint from the door filter to the exhaust hood. The thermal fuse located on the blower housing has continuity. With the toe panel removed I pressed the start button, 20 sec. later burner ignited for 60 sec. then quit (the drum stopped and the buzzer sounded). I pressed the button again and it repeated the above sequence to the second. I PRESSED and HELD THE BUTTON for 10 sec., 10sec. later the burner ignited for 85 sec. then quit for 74 sec. (the drum kept turning) then the burner re-ignited on it's own for 74 sec., the burner quit, the drum turned for another 26 sec., quit and the buzzer sounded. (Had the heat set on high for 1 hour)
Dryer-electric will run for 10-15 minutes and then shut off.....I too, have to keep turning it back. It only runs on one cycle of drying as well. Please help! My place is resembling that of a Brookly city airing their dirty laundry! Thank you, Lisa
that is good so the bearing in the motor are not bad, So you have a voltage break somewhere probably the motor switch . the timer or the door switch . This is a problem for a ohm /volt meter do you have one
do you have to let it cool down to restart?
