Have you been wiping the glass off in the door. A buildup of detergent crust on the bottom will cause the seal to weep.

SOURCE: Leaking washing machine - hotpoint aquarius 1100 - wm63

water leaks are very hard to locate as the water always drips from the bottom, it is just a case of detailed looking, after a while there will be a dry white mark where the water has dried out, this will show where the leak originated from, there are a few things at the front of the machine that it could be, sorry can't help much more nearly all parts can be bought by the public and with common sense and taking very detailed notes where wires came from etc, most jobs can be done by a competent diy person with basic electrical knowledge remember water and electric do not mix always unplug from power supply where working on any appliance

SOURCE: water leaks from the soap dispensing tray on Hotpoint WMA 56 model

In the sump hose there is a filter, remove the hose and clean out filter insert, water is being forced up dispenser hose because it cannot empty fast enough.

SOURCE: hotpoint wf860 washing machine leaking

Had exactly the same problem and it did indeed turn out to be a blocked filter - mainly with "Colour Catcher" sheets. Initially I thought the dispenser drawer was faulty so spent twently-six quid on one before that failed to fix it and then I discovered this site!

To get to the filter, unplug the machine then remove the bottom plastic panel at the back of the machine (2 screws). Undo the jubilee clamp holding the black rubber flexible coupler that joins the drum, drain pump and pressure sensor to each other. Pull the black coupler downwards away from the drum. Inside is a plastic cup filter arrangement with a plastic ball. Clean this out of various debis - along with the sheets there was £ 2.26 (to put towards the cost of the drawer!) in mine.

SOURCE: replacing door hine on hotpoint washing machine

Its a ***** of a design. Mine is a Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 WD62. If you cant get the backing plate then get someone to tilt the machine right back and you can put your hand under to get it out. Then take the top off the machine(3 screws at the back). Then slide your soap tray right out,(put it to one side) you will then see 4 screws (Which hold in the other tray that holds the soap tray) take these out, you will then need to remove this white plastic tray to get your hand down the machine to reach the place were the backing plate goes. Once u have taken the screws out slide the soap tray holder to the left or right (can't remember) it will then come loose. You will then need to slide it back to lift it out the way (No need to take the pipes off the back of it) you may need to push the whole drum back at the same time you are pushing back the soap holder (Be gentle but it will come out). The holder should then lift up out the way, you can now get your hand down to hold the back plate on whilst you get a helper to affix the door. Make sure backing plate is on the right way, the screws will only go in one way (Check which way b4 u put it down into place). Then go backwards on all steps to put machine back together. This sounds like a load of **** but it worked for me and took about 15 minutes. Good luck!!

Our washing machine is leaking at the front. What are the most likely causes please, and how can I fix it. It is a Hotpoint Aquarius Extra WMA36 1300 spin. Thank you

It is so common that water leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked from the front then the door gasket can be fault and needs to be replaced

please check this link:

http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1397/how-to-replace-the-door-seal-on-a-washing-mac.html

If there is leak at the bottom as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occurs. Removing and Cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there is gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

The water level on the Hotpoint WMA range of machine should be below the door, check out the error code definition at this site. You probably have a pressure chamber blockage or partial blockage. There are also workshop manuals for the Hotpoint WMA & WM machines which run through this sort of repair.

Hotpoint aqurious leaking at front underneath, concrete block wet at front towards door, alot of water coming out,any ideas thanks.david

Carefully check the door seal for any sign of a hole or tear in the seal.
Or it could be leaking from the drum front or the drum front seal, this is another seal , not the door seal., you cannot see this without removing the front panel.

WMA 54 Hotpoint Aquarius washing machine lights flashing

the problem here is the machine is not emptying when its supposed to, you will find it is stopping at the rinse cycles. there is a sump underneath the machine that needs to be emptied. From my experiences, 9 out of 10 hotpoints that i would of repaired with the same problem as you are having is usualy caused by using the color catcher sheets, they are a disaster.

I have a hotpoint aquarius wma 30 washing machine, when i put a wash on water pours out the door and floods my kitchen does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? thanks

as a service tech in your home the first thing i would ispect is the pressure tube and switch, this is what controls the level of water in your machine
the end of the tube may be clogged,
or a small leak in it,
or the pressure switch might be stuck

Major leak after 20mins into wash cycle!

Have a good look at door seal., and see if you can see any hole or tear in rubber. If o/k, then remove rear panel, and watch whilst it is running, and see if you can see any sign of water coming from anywhere.
Make sure the water is not running down the front from the dispenser, which would suggest a blockage in the dispenser drawer.
These are the steps I would take first.
Also make sure the waste outlet is clear
Plz leave rating and any comment you may have.
Thanks..
