No power We recently moved to new offices. We have 2 conference speaker phones. One works just fine. When we hooked up the second one, we had no power. We thought it might have needed to charge so we left it plugged in all night. In AM, still no power. We switched outlets, checked outlets with other lamps, battery pacs, etc. Not the outlet. We switched phone cables, and tested original cable on other phones. Not the phone cable. Its plugged in, to phone jack and power outlet, and still won't turn on. It is only a little over 1 yr old. What do we do?

During moving the power connector which looks like a big telephone plug or a data plug may have been wrenched loose, from the internal connector, inside the plastic plug. Use the power plug from the other phone to test. There is no battery in the phone to charge. If changing the power adapter and plug fixes the problem have you telephone company check the connector or go to radio shack and buy a plug and a cheap tool to replace the plug.

What are possible reasons that the conference phone is not getting power?

If you know anyone that can test the power supply with a digital meter, you can check if the power supply works or not. the power control board on the voicestation might have blown. and If that is the case I wouldnt recommending fixing it. Getting a refurbished or used with maybe 3 months to 1 year warranty isnt that expensive on these systems. getting it fix might cost you about the same. But checking if the power supply is working or not would be the first thing you want to do. If that works. looking for a power supply is pretty easy.

Avaya 4690 just flashes red lights and makes a click sound when booting....over and over again Nothing shows on the screen. Was working fine, just moved it from one office to another... now will not boot

This usually means the phone is not receiving enough power. You either have a power issue in the electrical of the new room or the power adapter is not functioning correctly. Try plugging the phone back into the old office to see if it comes up correctly, if it does their is some sort of issue with the electrical supply in the new room. If you have another conference phone try using that power adapter on the non-working phone.

Starplus Vodavi Triad digtal system conference call problems

sorry this is not possible . The conference is controlled by the system , each time you add a person to the conference the volume will drop and it gets harder to hear the callers . you need to up grade to a phone system that supports a conference bridge card or just have the phone company do the conference bridge for you but it will cost you every time you do this .

Comcast Cable Modem with Polycom Soundstation Premier

Try adjusting the ringer volume, dial tone volume, and speaker volume. Make sure that the ringer type selection is not set to off. Also make sure that you are not bridging your call.

You can also use the Upgrade feature built into the phone to look for updates which may resolve your issue.

If this has only started happening recently, Restore the default settings and see if it resolves your issue.
