Install item # AP3993720 in a ge hvm1540dn1ww

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Then you unplug the keypad (as per the photo below) and move the circuit board into your frame.

Some connectors on the relays may have a lock:

INTALLED A INTERMATIC TIMER AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING WITH THE EXPTION ON THE TIMER ITSELF. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGESTIONS

1) First suggestion is for you to add a comment and say what model number Intermatic timer you are working with.
If this is a box timer, then model number shows on inside of door.
In any case, we are guessing at your problem without knowing model number.
2) If this is a box-type timer, main thing folks do wrong is reverse the line and load wires.
Line wires come from the breaker box, and Load wires go to the fan, light, motor.
Line wires have to be connected to the clock terminals or the dial will not rotate.
The clock terminals are usually visible as small white wires connect to two of the terminals. Again, this is dependent on model number.

Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

I have a microwave model HVM1540DN1WW - manufactured Jan 08 and suddenly none of the buttons work. This seems to be a common complaint as I've discovered in my research trying to find a way to fix this....

Hello,

There is a child lock on this micro wave. If you do not have the manual it can be downloaded from the following site:-
