Update drivers on hp620 laptop

i think the realtek PCIe controler is your video display controler

it sounds like you have a hard drive failure hopefully you have restore cds and you can change hard drive and install your restore cds

It can't locate a working boot disc. Most likely lost communications with hard drive. Look in BIOS again to see it recognizes the drive. If not try re-seating / reconnecting drive.

As you can still get Internet thru the safe mode then on google type REALTEK PCIE GBE FAMILY CONTROLLER open that page. Click on the link with Download Driver PC Pistop/ Library/ Realtek PCIE GBE family controller. Next choose your windows version and the right click Download. Give your email Adress and click ok, go to your mails and confirm by clicking on download link. The driver will be installed and system will restart. Here your Internet must be working normal without safe mode.

A guess would be the HDD. Is the sound comming from the area of the HDD? You would have to remove and test to be sure. When you start listen near the location of the drive.

maybe you got the wrong version of your driver, realtek got an A&B device driver..
