What is the meaning in eaton ups, error code 192

UPS used lead acid batteries which die after 3 or 4 years. Disconnect the power and open it to see which ones it uses. You will know they are dead if they have swollen or melted. Buy replacement batteries.

Powerware ups 6kv indicates Bat disconnected

1st does this have external battery modules or is it only the Internal batteries on this unit? You can disconnect the EBM's and the unit doesn't alarm even removing the internals with EBM;s attached won't cause an alarm. But it you only have internal batteries, open the front cover by pressing in the sides on the bottom left and right and pull it out and up at the same time revealing a black cable with a small anderson connector, make sure it is connected. you can pull the batteries out to check them to be sure they are properly seated. By the way the UPS in the picture only went to 3000va so is the 6Kv a different model?

You can view the manual here: http://powerquality.eaton.com/Products-services/legacy/9150-info.asp
You can also contact the Eaton service department as they'll know this UPS better than anybody. They acquired Powerware years ago and kept the service personnel.
