br, sounds like you have a stuck keypad. This would be the only reason it is switching to a different cycle. Catriver..post back.

SOURCE: cleaning machine propt will not go away

I have the same machine and had the same issue all day yesterday. Tech support will tell you to clean the tamper (round disk behind the tan/gray "flap"), which you should do. That didn't do it for me, however, so I kept cleaning. I cleaned out the chute where coffee powder goes. Then, after turning off the machine and removing the tray, I used my fingers to go up/under/behind as much as I could get to. I found the motherload of old coffee grounds. It's hard to describe where, but it was all around that metal area in the center. Just keep poking, but use your fingers so you can feel where the coffee is. I tried q-tips, but that didn't work..you have to feel it. After I got all the gunk out, I ran a cleaning again - no tablet - and it no longer said "press rinse" at the end of the cycle. It asked me to dump the tray, and then it went to "ready"! Yahoo - saved a bundle in shipping and repair.

I found that unplugging eventually works. however, this seems to be a chronic condition related to the dishwasher itself not power surges because it happens again and again. i guess i'll just keep resetting it but quite annoying.

Oko 72630. Why is it stuck on rinse cycle?

Could be several reasons:
- Selected the "Night cycle" program (means standing with the drum full of water, reason: too much noise in the spin cycle)
- Set to the "Rinse hold" (means standing with the drum full of water, reason: wrinkles on the clothes)

According to your description I think that this is not a failure otherwise error E20 will be appears on display.

Once the washing programme has come to an end, END illuminates on the programme progress display.
If RINSE HOLD was selected, the display beside the START/ PAUSE button flashes.
1. After a rinse hold, the water must first be pumped out:
- Either press the START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is spun according to the completed programme;
After the START/PAUSE button is pressed again, the spin speed can still also be changed during spinning), or
- Turn the programme selector to PUMP OUT and press the START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out without spinning),or
- Turn the programme selector to SPIN or SHORT SPIN and press theSTART/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is spun or gently spun).
At the end of this programme step, the END indicator will illuminate.
2. Open the door.
As soon as the DOOR indicator lights up green, the door can be opened.

I have an error message f51 on my whirlpool cabrio washer model number WTW7600XW0, What is it and how can I fix this error on my own

F51 error code is a motor rotor position sensor failure or a lower harness problem. You need to check the motor in manual test mode, not automatic test mode. This will check the hall sensors and do a spin test: Be sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off; or with only the Clothes Clean or Done indicator on). Select any one button (except POWER, START, STOP, and PAUSE/CANCEL) and follow the steps below, using the same button: Press/hold 3 seconds. Release for 3 seconds. Press/hold 3 seconds. Release for 3 seconds. Press/hold 3 seconds.

If this test mode has been entered successfully, all indicators on the console are illuminated for 5 seconds with 88 showing in the Estimated Time Remaining two-digit display. During the 5 second wait time with 88 showing in the display, press the same button once. You should be in manual test mode. If the button is not pressed within 5 seconds, the automatic test mode begins. The Rotor Position Sensor uses Wash, Rinse, and Spin indicators to detect the three hall sensors. Console can have up to two of these indicators on at the same time when the tub is not moving. Open the lid and rotate the basket by hand. The Wash, Rinse, and Spin indicators should toggle on and off according to the direction the tub is being turned.

SPIN TEST: Make sure lid is down. Press and release: 2nd RINSE or EXTRA RINSE. The lid locks and the lid lock indicator turns on. Press and release; SPIN SPEED, WATER LEVEL, or LOAD SIZE. The motor/basket spins at 23 rpm. Press again, motor /basket spins at 530 rpm. Press again, motor/basket spins at 950 rpm. Press again and motor turns off.
