WELL FIRST IF THEY ARE DUAL VOICE COILS, IF SO,TO GET 2 OHMS JUS THOOK THEM UP TO ONE OF THE TWO TERMINALS, IF YOU WANT 4 OHMS HOOK YOUR POWER LEAD TO ONE TERMINAL THEN ABOUT THREE FEET OF WIRE COMING FROM YOUR LEAD TO THE O9THER TERMINAL, IF YOU WANT 8 OHMSHOOK YOUR POWER LEAD TO + ON ONE SIDE THEN THE NEGITIVE LEAD TO THE - ON THE OTHER SIDE, THEN VISE VERSA. BUT IF I WHERE YOU MAKE THEM 4 OHMS

GOOD LUCK

Whats the RMS Watts on a Performance Teknique ICBM 5910 I know it has 1500w peak but I'd like to know the rms watts on the subwoofer

Personally, I would not put more than 500 RMS total to that sub. 300-400 RMS is more like it.

I need to know if the specifications for the Perfomance Teknique ICBM-5712DX RMS total wattage is for both coils or per coil. The RMS total wattage rating is 500 watt

The 500W RMS total wattage is for both coils combined. If you want to get REALLY specific, all of the industry-specific specifications are as follows.
  • 12" Dual 4 Ohm Peformance Subwoofer
  • Power Handling:
    • Peak: 1000 watts
    • RMS: 500 watts
  • Impedance: Dual 4 ohm
  • Reinforced aluminum curvilinear cone woofer
  • Oversized butyl rubber surround
  • 5 spoke Die-cast aluminum basket
  • 2" Flat ultra excursion spider
  • Industrial Chromed Hex bolt retained T-Yoke
  • DC resistance (Re): 3.2 ohms each coil
  • Frequency range: 20 Hz-1.1 kHz
  • Fs:30 Hz
  • QTS:.526
  • QES:.614
  • QMS:7.698
  • VAS:56L
  • SD:.0491M
  • SPL: 89.58 dB 1W/1m
  • Xmax:16mm
  • Mounting Depth: 160 MM
  • Mounting Hole Dia.:282 MM

Im looking at this rockford fosgate p700-1bd amp brand new for $300 it comes with a birth sheet it says 750 rms on a 1ohm load. i cant find any reviews about it 225 rms x 1 @ 4-Ohms 450 rms x 1 @ 2-Ohms...

You can't go wrong with Rockford, in my opinion. Everything they make is well built and high quality. I personally have two Rockford p500-1bd amps hooked up to four 12 inch subs in my car and those amps make those subs slam. I have them wired down to 1 ohm and the specs say that they should be pushing 500 rms a piece at 1 ohm so that p700-1bd amp really packs a punch. Depending on what you're hooking up to that amp I would defenitely recommend it to you. - Ryan in Alaska

No knowledge of how to hook two subs which are the 12 alumni audiobahn sub to a performance technique 781 mono block amp operation ohms for the speakers say 3 or 12 ohms during operation can i bridge or do...

yor subs have dual 6 ohm voice coils from the sound of it-your amp is rated at 650 watts rms at a 1ohm load. The best you can do with the equipment you have is to wire ALL the coils of your subs in parallel and that will give you a 1.5 ohm load for the amp.It should knock the hell outta them with 300 watts on each sub - good luck

No, with 1700watts at 1 ohm the max current is 41 amperes, with 1500 at 0.67 the currents is almost 48 ampreres, you will be overdriving the amp at signal peaks.

I need rms spec's for performance teknique CBM-5712,

you will get more power at lower ohms, the lower the ohms the less resistance it will have against the amplifier

heres a small definition if it helps

The ohm is defined as the electric resistance between two points of a conductor when a constant potential difference of 1 volt, applied to these points, produces in the conductor a current of 1 ampere, the conductor not being the seat of any electromotive force.[
