I have a samsung s3 gt-i9300 i cant make or get

Your Samsung Galaxy S3 must be restricted to some specific network. That is why it allows only emergency calls when a SIM card from some other network is inserted in. You need to unlock your Samsung Galaxy S3 to make it work with all SIM cards. You can unlock your Samsung Galaxy S3 safer and easier using unlock code. You can get the accurate unlock code for a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Unlock-Zone.com at affordable cost. Good luck.

Rumor reflex signal fades and drops calls too often. Help?

Two possible problems: hardware or carrier. So a few questions:

- Does this happen everywhere, or only certain places?
- Does this happen when the phone is in a strong signal area, moderate strength signal area, or weak signal area?

It is possible that the radio simply isn't powerful or intelligent enough to hang on to a weak signal, or it is possible that you are in a very weak signal area. My first route would be to contact the carrier and ask for a signal check in the area where it happens most often. If the carrier confirms that the signal is good, you either have a defective handset, or a simply poor one.

The modem randomly drops the connection and restarts on it's own. Usually does this when there is a download or upload taking place while I am online or even when I am playing Xbox online. Why is this...

There can be any of a number of reasons for the modem randomly dropping your connection, but the vast majority of these are going to deal with a poor signal coming in over the coaxial cable line. Call your cable provider and let them know the modem is resetting. If they claim there are no problems, ask them for the signal strength and the "SNR". The signal strength should generally be within a ballpark of -10dbmv to 10dbmv, the closer to 0 the better. The SNR should not be any lower than around 32 or 33db.

I have a poor signal how can i make it better nokia 5230 so i can call on my phone

First of all,put the SIM card into another phone which you can be sure that there are no faults with it and check whether you're getting a good enough signal strength than your nokia 5230 phone.
If you're not, then its not a fault with your nokia 5230.
If your area has a poor signal strength from your current service provider, move into another service provider who has more signal strength within your area if you can.

please observe signal strength as when you are connected to network and till you drop off, there may be distraction in signal strength while you are connected and when you check it again, it comes to good again.

If the screen says searching for satelite the prblem is with the satelite receiver not the TV. (not familiar with Direct TV problems - usually signal strength alignment issues)
