Kia494 IC Tech here in Costa Rica worked on amp for 6 months, says I need to replace the integrated circuit oscillator part Number KIA494AF. But was unable to find one anywhere. I there a walk-around or bypass method for this, does anyone know where I can find on to be sent to Costa Rica? Thanks in advance, Any help is greatly appreciated

If you purchased a revtech you should be able to go on line with customchrome.com . You may be able to talk with a tech. Hope this helps

The only workaround for this "problem" is to connect the garmin to the PC, go to the GARMIN folder and rename the file gmapprom.img (this is the main map file) to 1gmapprom.img
reset the device and it will load the costa rica map.
when you need to use the base map again, undo the renaming.

The parts you need to fix the TV are 2 integrated circuits with the following number STK392-040 and the locations of the parts is IC8D01 and IC8D02.
You can find the parts you need here or you can also contact this website and ask them for a convergence repair kit for your TV. They will provide you with the ICs and low value resistors just in case they are damaged.

Every part has its unique reference number on schematics and PCB of TV installed.

C515 means Capacitor # 515 and IC206 means Integrated Circuit # 206 mounted on PCB and shown in related schematics.

Jungle IC is technical term used in Sony and Panasonic refers to sync, oscillators, drive stages for horizontal and vertical deflection stages in a TV.
