I had the exact same problem with my copy of Call of Duty : black ops, it however it wouldn't load certain maps. There are two basic solutions to this problem.

Many Tech / Game stores now offer a service referred to as resurfacing disks, basically as the name suggests it makes the surface of your game disk just like new again and is relatively cheaper than buying a new copy of the game (less than ten dollars).

Option two, which can be free (yay!) providing that you have a friend who has the same game, borrow the game off him and copy it to your hard drive, so that when you go to play the game ( you still need to insert the disk ) but your xbox reads all the game data from the hard drive on the xbox and not from your damaged disk.

1. Load the disk into your Xbox 360 console and go to your Xbox 360 console
2. Scroll down to My Xbox
3. Scroll across to Game Library and hit the A button
4. This should put you on the Recent Games window and your game should be highlighted, so you should just need to hit the A button. Otherwise, scroll to the Recent Games window and choose the game.
5. On the game screen, choose Install to Hard Drive. This process should take a few minutes, but once it is complete, you'll be able to enjoy improved performance."

Hi There.

The first thing to check is the disk, are there any visible scratches on the disk ? If so see if you can get your disk resurfaced, many game and tech stores now offer this at a relatively small cost.

Another solution is to borrow the same disk from a friend (or rent from a store) and install it to the hard drive of your xbox, you will still need your disk to play the game but your xbox will be loading the data off your hard drive.



To understand this problem you have to understand that it occurs when your xbox can't read the file you need to play that aspect of the game for you this seems to be the new goblin character, the two remedies above will solve this issue.

this is a disk reader problem and u see the disk is spiinning after u insert it and if not u can clean and try it..then also u hav som problem then u can see this site to solve it..

hav u recently spilled a little water on it? i did that n now i need a new battery or i need my dsi fixed if uve spilled water on it, n u tryed 2 start the ds right after u hav spilled water on it its gonna b fried so get new battery n try it out otherwise hav it fixed hope this was hlpful!

There could be several reasons. Either you cd/dvd drive's lens has to be cleaned, or the cd is in bad condition. Try copying the installation files to the hard disk and then install the game.

Hi,This is a common problem on the PS3 unfortunately and is caused by a faulty blue-ray drive. Unit will have to go back to Sony for service.You should try a DVD cleaning disk first to be sure that dirt on the laser lense is not causing the issue. You can also open the case and clean the laser lense with a Q Tip and an alcohol cleaning solution. If you plan on opening the case at any stage please ensure the unit is disconnected from its power supply. If this fails and you are confident with electronics there are several videos on YouTube showing how to replace the drive if you choose to order it and do it yourself.Hope this helps. try the premium plan $9.99, that's what I was told.

The only way to do that is buy the game from the playstation store and download it.
Otherwise would be just to easy to rent the game, load it in the HDD and play....

Your system is headed for the dreaded red ring w/ three red rings. My system started doing the same thing just before this happend. If you have a service plan with it i would suggest returning it and getting a new one.

I tried all the there little tricks as well deleted everything off my harddrive all that good stuff i think it made mine worse. Cuz after all that i turned it back on and bam three red lights and no picture or sound.
