I plugged the headset in and selected the FM Radio app, a message pops up saying 'starting', the green progress bar gets almost to the end and then stops, it goes away and the dash board is there but it is not responsive - none of the controls or the menu button work. I can get back to the home screen by touching the home arrow but the app is still running and the only way to end it is to force quit through the settings/manage apps screen. Any suggestions?
SOURCE: my htc touch viva is booting but not loading the os
Actually I only hard reset the device by pressing the reset button at the back along with the action button and the down on the volume button, at the same time. The problem was not immediately solved then, but I left the device on overnight and to my surprise it was fully functional again.

SOURCE: How do I enable javascript
The option for this is found inside your web browsers settings. While in the browser, press the "Menu" button. Then select "More" and then press "settings". While in settings just click on the option that says "Enable JavaScript" and then you're done!
Good luck! And please, if you do find this answer helpful give it thumbs up :)
SOURCE: How can I adjust the sensitivity of the touch
A lot of message boards suggest getting the privacy screen cover for the phone. It's pretty thick and reduces the sensitivity of the screen.
Using the set up manager, you can set up all your social networks before you start using the Wildfire.
The HTC Wildfire allows you to set up Facebook, Flickr and Twitter accounts for use with HTC's Friend Stream and HTC Peep social networking services.
You can either set these up using the setup manager when you first turn your Wildfire on, or do it later
Setting up social networks with the set up manager
The set up manager will appear when you turn your Wildfire on the first time, or after you've carried out a factory reset of the device.
When the social networking setup screen appears, simply select the social networks you use and enter your username and passwords.
Each time you successfully set one up, you'll return to the set up screen to add more accounts.
When you've finished, tap on next.
Setting up additional social networks
If you want to add more social networking accounts, or didn't use the set up manager to add accounts, you can do this later through the Accounts & sync sub menu in Settings.
To set up a new account, select Add account.
Here, you can choose which you want to set up for use on your Wildfire.
To use the Facebook widget on your Wildfire, opt for the Facebook for HTC Sense option.
Enter your username and password for the account. If your log in email address is set up on your Wildfire, it should appear as you start typing to save you typing it in again.
Beware though, we found that we had to manually change the address from the default @googlemail.com to @gmail.com before it successfully signed us in.
When setting up your Flickr account, you will be required to confirm you're downloading the HTC Flickr downloader from a trusted source.
Opt for the second option as the first is sometimes regarded as untrustworthy and access to Flickr may not be granted.
When you've set up your accounts, you're ready to start using Friend Stream.
If you're using your HTC Wildfire for the first time, you can easily select the Wi-Fi network you'd like to join using the setup manager.
When you opt in for either Mobile Network or Wi-Fi, or just Wi-Fi, the Wildfire will by default try to connect to a Wi-Fi network near you.
Select the network you wish to connect to, enter the password if required and you're set up.
If you want to change the settings, or set it up for the first time, you can do this through the Settings menu.
Note: If you're attempting to access a network-based page or app, you may be required to set up a new Wi-Fi connection. When prompted, select the option to set up a new connection.
If Wi-Fi is turned off, you can now turn this on by ticking the box in the Wireless & networks menu.
