Headset freezing up

I've only had this headset for about 2 months and now the white on/off indicator light won't turn off. At first it would charge and play anyway, but now it won't turn on at all. It appears to have a full charge and the white light is on but nothing happens when I try to turn it on so I'm unable to try to reset it like the manual suggests.

Hi, Before any bluetooth will connect to any phone, the red or red and blue light must flash back and forth. Make sure you're phone is in the set-up mode to recognize the phone. The easy way to do this if you dono't have directions, is to get the name and numbers off of the bluetooth and go online to find it. It will walk you through the steps to connect it to your phone. I have done this with many different models if all else fails. Give it a try and let me know what happens. This will solve you're problem,

Is a Plantronics 220 headset compatible with a LG800G phone?

Try to put your headset in pairing mode, prior to trying to pair it with your phone. To do it, begin with it turned off. Then, if it is the first time it is being paired ever, just by turning it on (i.e. by pressing and holding the call button for some 2 seconds), it should enter the pairing mode. Otherwise, keep holding the call button past the turning on phase (a total of some 8 to 10 seconds), until its indicator light is flashing in red and blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Either way within the next 2 minutes, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your headset should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or passkey, or PIN) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode. By the way, if its data sheet happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.

Really hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.

Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further .

My 220 won't turn on. Red light stays on when charging but when unplugged won't do anything

The link below on page 7 has the sequence for turning on your headset (Explorer 230 and 220 work the same). If you're still having problems, then it needs to replaced.

I have tried everything . My Motorola Hs850 will not connect. It keeps indicating that the connection failed

Firstly, make sure you have enabled Bluetooth on your phone or whatever device your using the headset with. The default setting off, so go into your phones set menu and enabled Bluetooth.
You'll then need to 'pair' the headset and phone.
1. Ensure the headset is turned off (indicator light not blinking).
2. Press and hold the Call E button for 4 or 5 seconds. The indicator light will initially flash, but continue to hold down the button until the indicator light is steadily lit.
If the indicator light is flashing or not steadily lit when releasing the button, repeat both steps 1 and 2. Hold the Call E button for 4 or 5 seconds.
3. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and get to 'search for devices' it should find the headset.
4. Select Motorola HS850
Select OK or Yes to pair your headset with your phone. Enter the passkey: 0000 Select OK. When your headset successfully pairs with your phone, the indicator light changes from steadily lit to flashing.
Hope this helps. Oh and make sure your phone actually supports the headset!

HI. I have a Motorola H670 Bluetooth. I've used it with two phones so far. Today I upgraded to Iphone 4. I can't get the BT to reset no matter what I do (following all instructions found). ...

Your phone will find your headset only if it is in pairing mode. This mode is denoted by its indicator light steadily lit in blue at the time you slide the call button towards the microphone (i.e. turn it on). If the light is not steadily lit then, you must ensure that all devices previously paired with your headset have their bluetooth radios turned off and try again. When the light is steady, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your headset should appear on the list of found devices. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is succesful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode. There might be an indication on the phone that a headset is connected too.
By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing ,feel free to download it from this location.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further.

Try letting the battery go completely dead on the headset and then recharge it. This should fix the problem.
