I fixed this problem by going to Start>Control Panel and uninstalling the Java 64-bit program. It is incompatible with the Neo sync application. The other Java program on there is compatible. It worked immediately without even restarting. (I tried the above Best Solution, but on the newer computers, I get a message saying the Vista driver is only for Vista, not for Windows 7).
Music player must be closed and not running in the background when you attempt to sync. Basically you have 2 programs on your computer trying access the phone at the same time. Get the Full User Guide from LG, and set it to "prompt for Mass Storage mode," instead of "Always allow," - and when the media player comes-up on the computer, Deny or say NO, which will let you synchronize.
WITHOUT sd card go to my music, sync should get red screen that says connecting... then v cast mobile phone internal memory
select what program you use to sync with wmp, media monkey etc.
if you cant get that far make sure you have needed drivers, if possible try with different pc and or different usb port and i did have a bad oem usb cable
I went through the same trouble. After a small investigation I've found that the USB driver wasn't install. I just ran the setup and it worked imediatly C:\Program Files\LGE GSM PC Sync\USB Setup\LGUSBModemDriver_ML_WHQL_Ver_4.6.exe
I had the same problem but now i have found the solution for it. Its not the software its the phone. Go to your Phone Settings hit Connectivity and then Usb Connection select Data Service and now connect your phone to the pc and select connect in Mobilesync and it should work. After you are done using MOBILE SYNC you can simple go in settings once again and choose mass storage for any downloads!!!
Install Any USB drivers which are needed for your cable. Then connect your phone to the PC. Open Windows Media Player and click on the sync tab in Windows Media Player. Now on your phone hit MENU->Get It Now->Option 1 Music and Tones->6 Sync Music and the phone should show up under the devices in Windows Media Player. Now add the songs you want transfered to the sync side of Windows Media Player. Click Sync in Windows Media Player. and finally enjoy your music.
