Pinnacle PCTV pro stick 801e

I have Vista Home Premium 64bit and the pro stick i just bought is only capable with 32 bit media center. There is an updated driver on this site that i downloaded: http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/PCTV%20Drivers/ReadmePCTV.htm

It says to follow the instructions after you download it but I am still very unclear how to install it and get my media center working already.

    it only supports their software for 64 bit vista it doesnt they dont have a driver for the 64 bit media center

    i have the pctv hd pro stick and i cant get my computer to recognize the tuner at all i downloaded the mc drivers from the pinnacle site but the install information makes no sense to me at all i need help sum1 find a solution to this problem

Hi Adam,

Here is the link for tv center pro for your vista 64 bit download and install this to your computer. http://cdnexpress.pinnaclesys.com/akdlm/SupportFiles/TVCenter/TVC540/PinnacleTVCenterProSetup_5.4.0.3032.exe.
I suggest also to connect your tuner device at any usb port.

By the way you need the serial number for the new tv center pro.

Its a high def TV tuner for your computer. If you don't have the stock stick antenna you can use your old one on your roof or rabbit ears. Free TV! I have one and love it. You will need to go to Pinnacle's site for the drivers and software (slow to load but worth it). If they don't, I have the disk with the key code and could try to send a copy. You might have found your solution by now (55 days later). If so, pretty neat, aren't they?

Can i convert a 32 bit driver to 64 bit driver
That would not be possible. manufacturer releases drivers seperately for 32 and 64 bit OS.

I Just installed my 801e pctv stick on th atenna provided all went fine I had 10 channels all were upside down and text was backward what do i do?

Tv tuner problems only with Vista Media Center

Will not work with vista window media center
look for drivers. If pinnacle dosnt make vista driver which i heard they dont. you CANT use it with Vista, thank microsoft and pinnacle for that one.

Take it back! Either the computer or the Pin. TV Had this system last year on the 32 bit computer and was not happy. There is so much to adapt that it is not worth it. The world is not ready for 64 bit! See if you can use Vista system under the control panel to get it too work. This is mainly for older programs not running on Vista like games, etc. but try it for 64 bit--not sure, but call Pinacle if all else fails. If they want to make sales they must have support!
