The drawing is ok but not quite right. The knot is on the fixed panel. The cored is looped at the end of the outer door then goes two ways around middle door. Then tired off on the fixed panel.

Actually it needs to be tied off at the fixed panel end, AND attached to the outer door.

I am trying to replace the cord on a sliding shower screen,

Here are some steps you can follow to replace the cord on a sliding shower screen:
  1. First, locate the end of the cord that is attached to the shower screen. This is usually found at the bottom of the screen, near the rollers.
  2. Once you have found the end of the cord, gently lift the screen off of the rollers. Be careful not to damage the rollers or the track as you do this.
  3. Next, locate the other end of the cord, which should be attached to a tensioner device. This device is used to adjust the tension on the cord and ensure that the screen moves smoothly along the track.
  4. Carefully remove the cord from the tensioner device. You may need to use a pair of pliers or a small screwdriver to loosen any clips or screws that are holding the cord in place.
  5. Cut a new piece of cord to the same length as the old cord, using a pair of scissors or a utility knife.
  6. Attach one end of the new cord to the tensioner device, using the same method as before.
  7. Guide the other end of the cord through the rollers and back to the bottom of the shower screen.
  8. Finally, reattach the shower screen to the rollers and adjust the tension on the cord using the tensioner device. Test the screen to ensure that it moves smoothly along the track.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Riccar 4000 series. Need to replace power cord. How do I get to motor? Do I need special tool because some screws are deep & have small opening so can't see screw head type.

One screw on back of handle will allow handle to slide off with some force. Two screws on front above bag door will allow small cover to come off allowing access to where cord connects inside vacuum.

Replace hollow gasket vista-pivot ii shower door

Usually the bottom of most framed doors has a chanel which contain door sweep or hollow gasket, all you have to do is pull it and slide the new one in the same place.
Please note that some times the end of the chanel is crimped to prevent the gasket to move in and out of the track.
I hope this will help.

The inside shower door is uneven, making it come of the hinge after moving it more than 4-6 inches. The metal attachment holding the glass is lower than the other ones. How do I get it even so it slides...

The top rollers should have adjustments on them to bring the door to horizontal as it swings accross the track.

Start with door in the middle and adsust by seinging it to both sides.

I installed a new bathtub bypass shower door and the outside glass doesn't slide smoothly. It seems to bind in the middle of the bottom support track; it moves, but not as freely and quietly as it should.

Please clarify - you said it's a pivoting door but also said it doesn't slide smoothly - can't really do both at the same time. If it's a typical bypass sliding door then you should be able to make an adjustment to the hanging brackets on the offending door to raise it up off the track. If all else fails the header track can be raised thereby making the doors hang higher and off the track attached to the tub surround.

Need installation instructions for sliding shower door...probably #5475. When reinstalling, the inside door is swinging with nothing to secure the bottom.

not sure what you mean when inside door "swings" on a "sliding" door,...i'll assume you need the "inside door guide", a little plastic piece that screws with one screw to the main threshold,.....

Spartan brand curved glass shower door installation info needed.

curved cut glass will not always be the exact dimensions though they may look identical there should be several set screws on both the door glass frame and the shower glass frame that can be loosened and reset to make the door fit and close and open more properly without seeing the showwer itself i can not tell you exactly where they are but they should be either visible or behind a facade piece of metal frame
