Futura CE 150

HI, you must be the person to ask, because I see that you were able to help somoen else with a problem.. My problem is that I keep getting the error message that my USB cord is not connected, when it is and it's turned on. I loaded the software, the patch and it still will not work.. Can you help me before I throw this machine out the window!! lol thank so much! r

There may be a small "DRIVER" needed for the computer to "see" the sewing machine (*make sure machine is turned on!) when the cable is hooked up. (*could be a bad cable try another they are $2 at fry's) This sometimes requires more computer work to make sure the usb cable is connecting the embroidery machine to the computer correctly.
This driver may be located on your Singer Futura Disk? this is not your program to run the singer machine but the one to connect the two so they can communicate embroidery designs and such.
Deep breaths it will never work if it goes out any window.

Maybe you should try to contact singer south africa and ask them whats wrong, my laptop did the excact same thing switch over to home pc and no problem ever again.

You need to look for the drivers on the site and download it to the futura program, if one driver is not loaded correctly your program might stop while you are embroadering of might not work at all.

Either upper thread is not passing through thread sensor area or sensor is broken.
Second possible reason is that if design is not optimized the sporadic speed change provides thread breakage error even if the thread is not broken physically. Make sure your software is updated to optimize it automatically (Futura main menu->Help->Live Update).

If you applied wrong patches you will have to uninstall Futura, reboot, install from the beginning the basic version and then apply an update 3.0.0.9

Do you mean the embroidery unit. If it is secondhand and has been stored for a long time, sewing machine oil, or worse WD40 goes 'gummy'. You would need to clean all the out. WD40 is a good solvent, so spray, leave it to soak, spray again and agitate with a brush. The wash it all off with hot soapy water. Dry thoroughly and after a few days, lubricate metal parts with sewing machine oil and any plastic parts with a dry silicone spray like Jigaloo. Test Jigaloo on a flat piece of plastic first as it is also a powerful fast drying solvent.

The needle continues to move up and down when I'm trying to rewind the bobbin. All the flashing red lights then come on. How can I correct this on my Futura CE-150?
Doesn't the button in the middle of the handwheel disconnect the drive to the needle. That is what happens normally.

I asked do you have an updated version for the CE-150 sewing machine . Embroidery software that is comparable with windows 10?
The CE-150 software update page claims that the version 3.0.1.3 update is compatible with Windows 10. See http://futura-support.com/products/ce-150/software . You will need the original installation CD in an optical disc drive. If your current computer doesn't have a CD or DVD drive, connect an external optical drive. These use a USB port or two - the second port is for power - depending on the model.

I hope this helps. If you don't have the original CD, you'll need to find a copy. I don't know of any trustworthy sources that still have the original disc.

I need help with my Futura CE-150 embroidery machine. I cannot keep the thread from breaking. I have re-threaded, changed the needle, loosened the tension. Still breaks.
Try replacing the needle. The needle sometime will bend just a little and nick the thread causing it to break.
