Is service provider only one to have puk code

A PUK code is a Pin Unlock Key code. A PUK code is required to unlock a SIM. Please contact your service provider for PUK code because only they can provide you a PUK code.

PUK and PIN are two security features provided by the service provider. It wrong PUK or PIN are provied more than three times the SIM gets locked and has to be replaced by the service provider for a small charge to retaing your phone number.

Please contact the helpline of the service provider, even if from your friend's phone and ask for a new SIM with old number. They are the only ones who can help you in this regards.

It happens when you have protected your phone with a PIN code. Three wrong entry of PIN code will result in SIM blocking. Once SIM gets blocked, phone starts asking PUK code. You may call to customer care using any other mobile phone which uses the same service provider. They will ask some details about you to make sure you are the owner of the SIM card. Your PUK code is blocked...U must have entered wrong PUK thrice...To unlock cal ur service provider a get a new PUK code..cal to ur service provider from some other phone...dey will ask ur sim no...

the network service provider will provide you the puk code when you call their customer service you will need to proof your identity that your the owner of the simcard/phone - they will ask for it. and they will give you the puk code and instructions on how to enter it.

no one else can give it to you also there is no pay for service that could provide the code, only the service provider. its your only option.

If you can't enter the puk code anymore then you need to order a new sim card from the service provider or buy a new prepaid sim card if you use prepaid you can cut it into parts and throw away.
