I'm having a problem with my USB adapter, when I first connect it into the PC or when the PC first turns on the adapter will work fine and connect to my BT Homehub Wireless Router at around 57% signal strength. The problem is that it will randomly lose the signal of the router and will not be able to pick it up again until unplug the adapter and plug it back in, at which point it will work fine until it loses the signal again. It isn't the adapter because it works without problems on other computers nor is it the router because the other computers in the house's network have no problems. As suggested elsewhere on this I tried changed the router's channel to reduce interference but I result with the same result. Any help would be greatly apprecated. Thank you
If it's possible try moving the router to another telephone point that is nearer to the problem reciever. Unfortunately all sorts of objects can divert the wireless signal, something as simple as a door. If your wireless adapter picks up a signal of 57% it may also be very low on the 'bps' transfer and may only show as limited or no connectivity. The signal to the router may be average but it still has to transfer data to enable a network and internet connection.

Thanks it worked, it seems I will to increase the signal of my router to ensure the signal will reach the PC to where it normally it is. (I don't have another telephone port so I moved the reciever)
