Sound not in sync with video

I live in a large metro area and use rabbit ears. Beginning a week or so ago the sound is no longer in sync with the video. This does a number on my brain especially on news programs. This problem occurs on KERA 13.1. It is not as pronounced on KERA 13.2 or other digital channels. I've complained to KERA, but get no response. Do I need a new antenna or has the TV just quit working?

I have checked the user manual for the TV and find no solution. The TV is an Emerson LC195EMX.

SOURCE: Sony BRAVIA KDL46S2010 Sound and Pix not in sync - in HDTV channels only

This is a software issue with both the TV manufacture and the cable box provider. This will only be fixed when the cable company and TV manufacture sit down and work out their problem. Some cable company has taken the first step by updating cable boxes with different software.

SOURCE: Digital channel 25 has no sound.

First make sure SAP or nothing similar is turned on.

After you triple check that just Contact ILO if it continues for more than 1month. This is a software error.

What state are you in?
What channel is this?NBC, ABC
Have you check this at different times of day?
What TV does your son have?

SOURCE: TV freezes up when turned to channel 33-1

I had the same problem. I also use rabbit ear antenna , no cable or satellite. I was watching ch. 33.1 and the tv turned off by itself. The remote wouldn't work. The power on/off buttons on the side of the tv wouldn't work. I had to un-plug the power cord to turn the tv off. The tv forze on ch. 33.1 when I turned it back on.

I called Vizio, they told me they received hundreds of complaints from people in Texas complain g about these problems.

I was told to un-plug the antenna cable and re-plug it. I did this plus I re-scanned all channels. The problem has been solved, the channel (33.1) no longer freezes and the tv doesn't turn off by itself.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Indoor antenna problem with Magnavox LCD TV Model 15MF605T/17

I have found most of these indoor antennae to be ineffective and a waste of money, however, I do not know anything about this particular antennae. I to have a Dish DTVpal, which I love! It's ugly and probably won't fit in your kitchen, but the best solution is to make your own "bow-tie" antennae, mount it indoors or on the roof and run a cable to the kitchen. Directions can be found on You-Tube. I live in SE Idaho (Pocatello) and can get 13 channels, most without having to adjust the antennae.

Hook rabbit ears to a vizio tv

Weak signal? Try introducing a known working video source and see if set works. If so, try hooking up an antenna amp to the rabbit ears. If that gets some results you need to either get cable or a good outdoor aerial.

I bought the same TV wich is in fact a Seiki TV, see the warranty paper. The television has digital and analog tuners so is able to receive digital channels. Our television receive signal thru a rabbit ear antenna and we had some trouble to scan all the digital channels. We had to change the orientation of the antenna to receive correctly the signals and we had to scan many times. We finally conected the TV to a roof antenna so we where able to scan all the channels of Montreal, north Vermont and north New York areas since we are living in the south shore in front of Montreal. After the scan was completed we conected back the TV to the rabbit ear antenna and the television is working correctly receiving all the stations of Montreal area with a very good picture quality.

Get no picture sound anything using rabbit ears

The FCC has changed to digital format for over the air broadcasts. You will need a digital converter box between your rabbit ears and tv now. Check radio shack or Best Buy.

Toshiba Tv - Does it have a digital tuner?

That unit has a NTSC tuner. May be HD Ready but it does not have a digital tuner. Unless you live quiet close to a local Broadcaster, rabbit ears would be useless.
The only way you would be able to get HD is using a HD Set Top Box, HD Satellite System,
or HD Cable BOX, using the Componet or HDMI inputs.
Hope this helps

Im not getting any signal weak or strong! What am I doing wrong?

What's your source for signal? You need an antenna to be the capture source for your signal that has a wire going from the antenna to the INPUT of the box. That's usually coaxial input. The box is the middle component between your TV and antenna.
