The line that gives water to the ice maker, every time the water comes down it lives a drip of water that turns to ice blocking the line, get some hot water and a towel and place the hot wet towel on top of the line intel it melts the ice in side the line. it happens to my frige at list once a year. if that is not the problem the valve that supplies water tho the ice maker needs replacing, it's behind the frige at the bottom, where the line coming from the house meets the frige.

Ice Maker leaks water inside the freezer

I see you said you looked and the water valve is off but the only that I know of this happening is a defective water control valve. Like a dripping faucet that when off slowly drips until the ice forms and then one the ice maker dumps ice and tries to refill the water goes in every direction. Unplug water valve to confirm what I am saying, Tell me if it continues to leak. Sea Breeze

Stainless Steel GE Profile with Bottom Freezer.

Have you had any cooling problems coincide with the ice problem? if no evidence of temperature variations, you either have a crack in the ice maker mold, causing water to drip into the ice bucket. Or you may have a bad water valve solenoid, not closing completely when the ice maker stops calling for water, overfilling ice maker into the bucket, and further down your freezer.

those are the most common problems, though other odd situations could also be a problem.

Ice maker not working

OK, that should be no problem. Test your ice maker and fill with water if empty of ice. If full of ice and not moving to dump tell me. I need to help you locate the problem doing that and answering will tell me the problem. Also look around the door frame and inside for the model Profile that you have. and get back with me as soon as possible, Thanks Sea Breeze

The water to the ice maker continues to drip then freezes up.

the loud noise is from the water freezing and hitting the fan blade in the freezer, is the imkr level? have you replace the filter if has one? is it hooked to an R/O water drinking system? if so remove the filter in frig. last thing to do if others questions ok if the shutoff to that water line going to frig is on the bottom of the pipe shut all the way off then turn back on if you have a dispenser and water is really slow to come out this may clear up the low water pressure. If on most units if you do not have appx 35psi it will not allow the valve inside the watervalve to seat and allows water to dribble by

GE side by side by side, water drips from bottom freezer door

I have the same problem. Just talked to a friend that's a great appliance repairman. he said I have to remove the panel in the back inside of freezer and there is a drain that gets clogged up, a little hole or tube.
clean that and should work fine and stop leaking. I haven't had time yet, but this weekend I'll do the deed. Hopes this helps ya!

GE Profile PDS22SIS ice maker problem

on the ice maker press and hold the size selector. This will put the ice maker into a test mode and it should cycle through. If it doesn't work your problem is with your icemaker.
