How do i connect my reciver to my lcd hdtv so the audio is coming from my speakers not the tv speakers.

kindly get four audio RF connection wires look for the audio output on the front or back of your tv. one of the output connection is white the other is red.look for the same connectors on your reciever the same colour.but they are marked input.plug the output wires from your tv to the input connection of your reciever.if you have separate speakers, connect the speaker wires from the output connectors of your reciever so you can get sound comming from your tv through your reciever,good luck.

I own a rca tru flat model 27F520T and the tv signal is via a starchoice statelite reciever. I recently purchased a Toshiba DVD SD7200. I am trying to view dvd's with the hook up to the statelite...

Try this steps
On the backside of your satellite receiver, you will notice a bunch of connections. If you already have your coaxial satellite cable connected to the INPUT on the receiver, leave it connected. Disconnect and remove the cable connecting the receiver to the television.
Grab your A/V composite wires and insert them into the Audio/Video OUTPUTS on the back of the satellite receiver. These are color-coded connections--red to red, white to white and yellow to yellow. The red and white connections are your audio feeds and the yellow is for your video.
Look on the backside of your DVD/VCR dual recorder. You will see similar connections. Connect the other end of the composite wires to the Audio/Video INPUTS on the DVD/VCR dual recorder.
With a second set of A/V composite wires, connect one end to the DVD/VCR dual recorder's A/V OUTPUT and the other end to the television's A/V INPUT. Again, be sure to follow the color code. Also, if your television has more than one available input, be sure to know to which one you made the connections (A/V 1, A/V 2, etc.)

Next, tune your television to the proper input channel. Look on the television's remote control for a button that is labeled "Inputs" or "A/V." Press it until you see the correct A/V channel appear on the screen. If you made your connections in A/V 1, then the TV should display "A/V 1" in the corner
.
Now, just turn your equipment on and settle back to watch your favorite show or DVD

ShubhangiWe try to connect CD player with Samsung LCD TV. CD Player is having Three Component Yellow, Red,White. It dont have Blue and green components.What to do ???

Hi, Component input connectors use the colour convention
Green = Y (luminance signal)
Red = Pr or Cr (Red colour difference signal)
Blue = Pb or Cb (Blue colour diffrence signal)

Composite input connectors use the colour convention
Yellow = CVBS (composite video, blanking, sync)
Red = Audio Right
White = Audio Left

for compatibility both units will need to have matching colours. note the component inputs do not have audio and as such will also have a set of red & white connectors for use with the audio signals too ( rule of thumb Component = 5 connectors, composite=3 connectors)

Switch TV on then a blank red screen appear then a green and then a blue which then just repeats that sequence of colours every second. The remote control packed up working some month before. - 2 year old...

turn TV on, let the Tv cycle through the three colours, then using the remote press the menu button followed by the standby button. press standby button again and it all comes up working.

Mmitsubishi TV Blank screen

Not easily, unless you can provide more detailed troubleshooting data. What test equipment do you have and know how to use??? Oscilloscope? DMM? Isolation transformer? ESR meter? If you can "assist" with the troubleshooting I am certain that you can recieve repair suggestions.
