My HP Mini 1000 is locked up and i need the BIOS PASSWORD.
Best solution is to visit http://www.unlockbiosrecovery.com/Unlock_HP_Bios.php
and order your HP Mini Bios Master Password for only $20 which will clear any currently set bios password. They do most laptops and have a phone number where nice tech support help you unlock your laptop.

if you have forgotten your Bios password, open the laptop to view the motherboard. look carefully on the motherboard, you will found a jumper setting for password. remove the jumper from the two little pins. you have disable your password and can now access your Bios

When the computer is turning on, after the first POST screen, press F8 repeatedly and select Safe Mode from the menu. When Windows loads, select Administrator as the account, go to Control Panel > User Accounts and create a new account. You can also delete the old one. Restart and log in to your new account. If you really need to access the locked account, first log in to the newly created one, Start > Run: CMD, to the command line enter: net user [name of the account] after that the new password (you won`t need the old one), after this you can log off and log in to the previously locked account. Good luck
